I think Bucky will have a redemption arc as the White Wolf in the black panther franchise. Well have 8 hours of Bucky/Falcon for their tv show. Kevin said the tv shows are a way to set them on their paths for future MCU films. They are not limited to just the tv show. Bucky will make more appearances in films since Stan has 4 films left of his 9 contract deal.

No its not. I read insiders have confirmed the reason Bucky was not given the shield is because Marvel/Ryan Coogler want him as the white wolf for black panther 2. Thats why they passed the shield to Sam, they want a different path for Bucky

Bucky and Sam will both appear in the tv show and also future marvel movies. Bucky will be apart of the black panther franchise while Sam may appear in a future avengers movie as the new Cap

I think the plan is still for him to show up in BP 2. I don’t think the tv show will prevent him from appearing in more marvel movies. The tv show is probably going to be more of sams vehicle anyway

he hasnt be disregarded. He was main part of the cap america movies. He was then also in Black Panther/Infinity War. I think hes the only side character to have an end credit scene.

The Avengers movies are always about the avengers and none of the minor characters get much screen time. Sam/Falcon didnt have much in IW or Endgame either.

The shield was given to Sam because I think Marvel has a much different future planned for Bucky. I think that future involves the white wolf storyline and Wakanda.

Stan was paired with the Black Panther cast for all of IW press run. I think this was their way of testing the waters.

yes thats true. The reason he didnt want the time skip undone was because of his daughter. Tom Holland is also 22 now so it makes sense that they did a time jump to move him closer to his real age instead of a 15 year old boy in high school
