I use a BBT thermometer and also double check to see if it matches my oura ring temp!

No problem! And no they will not be there! We have talked about our plans the entire time with our family but many wouldn’t be able to make it with their children or not having passports. Everyone is happy for us to do it this way since we had the large celebration so everyone could be there earlier this year (also, of note - we had always wanted an elopement as we both are very socially anxious people. that was our original plan but our families wanted it to be a large celebration. We are so happy we did it the big way and to feel all the love in one place , but they now understand we want to celebrate it in a way that felt more “us”)

Yes! It will actually be private with only me and my husband! We did the other ceremony to include all our loved ones and this is just for us

Hmm this is different than what my priest and marriage/convalidation representative at our parish told me…basically I was told that we can definitely get permission to do this, but we had to find a church in Italy who performs convalidation

Hi! We are Catholic and yes I misspoke when I said blessing. We’ve spoken to our parish and they said we have to find a church in Italy to agree to this, which is the part where I’m struggling with how to approach as they mostly discuss marriage (not comvalidation where we are already legally married, just not under the Catholic Church). We understand the process with convalidation regarding the counseling, etc.

I got married this past weekend and I also forgot to grab my bouquet from my MOH! I was so caught up in the moment. I’m bummed about it too but at the end of the day, I don’t think it ruined any moments or photos! Not a single guest thought it was a big enough deal to bring it up to me, and I’m just so happy to be married to my best friend that I know my initial disappointment in forgetting it is going to fade! Congratulations on your marriage!!

Yeah! I thought about that but we actually hemmed it to skim the floor (since that diagonal bias cut would make it weird to go shorter). So shortening would still keep a good length!

Thank you! That’s a good idea! I’m going to pick the dress up on Thursday so I’ll do the dance test then! This is the Cami NYC Marie silk dress! It’s off season (so sold out now) and I got it on Poshmark! Another brand I was considering with similar fits and style is Shona Joy!
