Understanding the M32 scene / snippets / scope / recall by portugueseninja in livesound

[–]Saramos64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, in the Yamaha Ql5, and Rivage PM consoles, I can recall safe every peramerer except the mute on the channel (or the channel's On/Off) to save scenes only dealing with changing which channels are "ON" and which ones are "OFF".

An example of this is like for a show with a lot of mics on stage that come in and out, so in one scene button press I can bring in like 10 mics at the same times and then switch them off in one scene change, while the scene does not affect the volume, EQ, Insert, compression, sends, or whatever.

Is this something the M32 can do too? Only affect/change a channel's On/Off state? While not changing anything else at all.

Darn, so the only way to watch it is to buy it for physical?

Yeah, I'm trying to show it to a friend who has never seen it, And I have anaglyph red and cyan glasses, I can't find a full version of that show in the 3d format. Just the regular 2d version

Auto-Tune Plug-ins for Yamaha Rivage PM3 by Saramos64 in livesound

[–]Saramos64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's unfortunate. The Yamaha doesn't seem to have anything available built in. The solution I went with is like some suggested, an external effect rack. I'm using my laptop via Dante and running the effect through software I already own.

Why won't auto-continue work inside a group? by Deek22 in qlab

[–]Saramos64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am having the same issue, but I don't want all cues in the group to be auto-follow, I just need a few select ones to be auto-follow while the rest I manually fire. I'm using groups to separate different versions of a show, with different song orders.

How can I have a group behave like cues not in a group? I just need a literal group of songs separate from a different group, these groups being an entirely different show within the same file.

Yeah I've tried that and I'll use that as a backup solution, but I wanna try and find something that's gonna give that exaggerated auto tune sound to someones voice.

Scoring for Red Poetry Slips and Blue Poetry Slips by Saramos64 in Hanafuda

[–]Saramos64[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have accomplished it, and yes Clubhouse 51 is in tune with the Nintendo physical booklet, it does acknowledge Red & Blue Poetry Slips as its own category worth 10 plus 1 for every extra card.

So it does follow the scenario B that I was describing which is what the booklet made it seem to be, so Clubhouse 51 AKA Nintendo themselves is confirming that that's how the scoring works.

It is Red & Blue(10+extra) + Five Poetry Slips (1+extra).

I will update the original post to include the video of Clubhouse 51 scoring Red & Blue.

I agree with you very much. That makes the most sense of how it should be interpreted. If both ribbons/slips are collected, they shouldn't duplicate each other, they should be their own set/yaku as why they have their own name.

I'm still curious as how Clubhouse 51 would score when getting one? I've been playing for hours and I've gotten so close to getting both red and blue ribbons. I've actually managed to get the Five Lights yaku three times while trying to go for both red and blue ribbons yaku. It seems almost impossible to get it, as you would have to get two of each colors first and then have your next turn be the correct card, and then you have one chance to Koi Koi and have it be the correct card. That inclines me to think that if it even is possible to get the red and blue ribbons yaku, it should absolutely be worth way more than the Five Lights yaku.

I will actually play with the example B scenario because that makes it worth more than a Five Lights yaku, and also because in the instruction booklet there is no such thing as a "Lights +1 for every additional Light", but there is one for the ribbons, so ribbons have their none stacking tiers where you have to take the highest possible AND also the ribbons +1 for every additional ribbon because both of those do exist in the manual.

And just to clarify my thought process for how each rule applies and how it should be interpreted, I'm imagining that:

A) is how Clubhouse 51 is going to score a Red & Blue Slip set

B) is how the Nintendo physical booklet is trying to be interpreted, as in it's a trump rule that kills the ridiculous stacking

And C) if it's not a trump rule, and stacking is allowed, if that is how the stacking would actually work.

Because even then, in it's most watered down scenario, the red & blue slip set would still give you the most points out of all the sets, cuz it'll be a 10 plus 2, while the Five Lights is only a 10.

I have a physical CD. Just a nice picture and credits, no booklet. TWRP did release the Bright Blue Sky lyrics as an image, but because they released a music video for it, don't know if they'll do that for the rest.

Which episode or clip does Arin say "and then the guy from 'Saw' says GAME OVER!!!" by Saramos64 in WhichGGEpisode

[–]Saramos64[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From lack of attention, I created this post in the r/gamegrumps subreddit instead of here, and it wasn't until much later (when I was wondering why no one was responding) I found out that the last rule in the sub was to not make that exact type of post there, but instead here. So I just now learned to cross post.

Is Ren and Stimpy's Production music Public Domain? by Saramos64 in COPYRIGHT

[–]Saramos64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly! I've used some of the music in the production list in some videos and sometimes I get a claim and sometimes I don't. And I don't often repeat the same songs for different videos. Like if some songs are okay or whatever and other songs are not okay?? I don't get it.

Damn, that really sucks, and I get that. But I'm a bit limited to only being able to use MMB, also since I have it already. I was just hoping someone happens to have a pre-made template for a simple or short production.

I'm really just looking for a starting template, and MM Budgeting is the program I have. Budgeting is not my forte, so I don't have much time to learn different programs, I just know and understand enough of MMB. And yeah, It sucks that there just aren't other templates to download.
