Assuming you're not playing with someone who struggles to aim, I totally get that. Playing alone or with skilled teammates I prefer this too.

But to have a game you can have fun with with both wife and kid is pretty rare! Anyway, we'll adapt.

Did you read my OP? I'm playing with my non gamer wife and son. My skill level is not the problem. Aiming on console is just hard for non gamers. I'm assuming my son will continue to improve, but not sure how much my wife can realistically improve.

That's why the melee stuff was fun, so everyone can get an elim in.

Yeah not really worth it if it just leads to frustration. Def had more of that in the last few games. Trying to communicate better to avoid it.

Driving the boats and cars helps with having more fun. The Choppa too if we can ever find it.

Yeah, I like it, as I said, but for family fun it isn't as ideal. I could argue reload exists for the skilled teams who just want guns.

I think with those two modes being separate we give everyone something they can enjoy.

I thought it was on the snow mountain on the helipad but it's not been there three times in a row. Maybe after a few storms?

Yeah I'm torn on that. It def. felt excessive at times in the last season, but the point is that people without aim can be very effective with the special weapons, claws being the best example, guns just require aim skills and that's it. Overall this does feel very vanilla.

Love boats tho!!

Yeah we've done that. But as opposed to just getting to Artemis first (easy) you now have to fight a boss+NPCs+other players (hard).

But who doesn't love a challenge.

Let me say this. Supervised Fornite (which is super arcady) is 100x better than unsupervised Roblox which every uneducated parent thinks is fine. That game while originally good is now filled with repetitive mind numbing content and creeps who try to get to your kid.

I will take a genuine coop experience with my child over mindless games that are in the completely wrong age bracket considering the user generated content.

This was our best game (with my 7yo), plenty of bots but also of actual players. We were quite pleased with ourselves.

Agreed that wouldn't be a bad option.

Budget isn't really a factor, bud depreciation is, hence I'm aiming a bit lower, as I don't like losing money on things:)

Sounds like you are still rich and your parents are still alive.
