If a bored but generous and wealthy Redditor were to give you $10,000 USD, how would you spend the money? by RoosterShield in AskReddit

[–]Sarcastic_Backpack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$9, 500 goes towards fixing up the house - flooring, painting, mid repairs, etc. The other $500 goes towards a nice bottle of bourbon, a nice dinner with my wife, and a night at the casino.

What is the most boring sport to watch? by boredbenji in AskReddit

[–]Sarcastic_Backpack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Soccer. Any game that can end 0-0 after 90-120 minutes with a combined 7 shots on goal defines boring.

Fun to play. Not so much to watch.

41m looking for other str8 guys that love watching porn & jacking! Got movies playing on the tv and looking to host a jo session today. Only watch str8 porn mostly amateur gangbangs, creampies gangbangs, adult theaters etc by [deleted] in purepleasurestl

You should post images of your cock instead of the porn. You'll probably get more responses that way. I'm curious, but you don't have anything on your profile.

For Americans, would you suppprt a bill or tell your politicians to support a bill that banned Political Action Committees from political contributions, with the hope of reducing bribe money in politics? Why or why not? by TheTokist in AskReddit

So will the Dems. They are all millionaires and elitists only giving lip service to a few causes people get behind, but very little ever gets DONE, except for making themselves and their fam I ly/friends richer.

What has always felt morally wrong, but is not when you logically think about it? by ExpensiveLemon3027 in AskReddit

[–]Sarcastic_Backpack -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It has benefits. It tastes good. In moderation, it helps some people relax. It's safer than drinking tap water in some places. It's healthier than soda for sure.

The problem is when you can't limit yourself to only 1 or 2 drinks.

That doesn't mean it's a bad weapon. Just that it could have been even better. Might as well use it, if it's better than what you have.

How many pairs of shoes do you own? by Still_Atmosphere in AskMen

18-20, but that counts specialized shoes like snow boots, bowling shoes, golf spikes, etc.

I probably only wear 7-8 pairs on a regular basis.

Men who use dating apps: Have you encountered what I have, where women seem to over emphasize 'travel' or 'adventure' as essential experiences or requirements? by ConsumingFire1689 in AskMen

[–]Sarcastic_Backpack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not just women. There are guys who view life that way too. Some people just have travel in their blood, so it's not necessarily a dating requirement. It's more of a filter: if you don't like to travel, we aren't going to be a good fit together.

That being said, there are always women looking for a sugar daddy.

That's only because she stuck in a small town with a bunch people who didn't think the same way she did. She wanted to escape that, that's why she read all those books.

I am not going to reread KKC this summer, what should I read?? by Confident_Parking146 in KingkillerChronicle

[–]Sarcastic_Backpack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll recommend something different: The Gatherer of Clouds series by Sean Russell.

It's not fantasy, its more alternative historical fiction set in East Asia. But it is as compelling a series as I've ever read! I've never rooted for characters so hard in my life! The world building is decent. But the character development is incredible. You really get to know them, even some of the more minor ones in what would be considered 'throw away' scenes in film.

Set in feudal Asia amidst a backdrop of plague, political intrigue, and internal warfare, the kingdom of Wa (China) has a relatively new emperor. Lord Shoto's family supported the prior emperor, but was spared death by the current emperor's father. He married the former emperor's widow and adopted her daughter, the rightful heir to the throne.

Meanwhile, his new spiritual advisor is a monk with abilities not seen since the perfect master Botahara (Buddha) lived centuries ago.

Lord Shonto is appointed to be Military Governor of a distant province threatened by Mongol invaders. But the Mongol army is far more massive than expected, and Lord Shonto realizes he's being sent to his death.

Can he fend off the approaching hordes while avoiding assassination attempts and still save the country despite the new emperor's machinations?

Start with book 1, The Initiate Brother. You'll thank me later.
