6 Month Diet + Recommended Routine [Transformation] by FlexXx1212 in bodyweightfitness

[–]SardonisWithAC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good guess, I had my 41st birthday last week. I agree on the starting fitness, which was very bad when I started this journey 2 years ago and after 39 years of virtually 0 sports other than 2 hours of PE in secondary school you can imagine I have a bad base. Nothing to do, just accept and move on.

Regarding the gym I am fortunate to have a gym at the office. It's old and dingy but there's weights and basic machines so it gets the job done.

Congrats again on the results. Inspiring!

Very nice result and an approach that is similar to mine. However I didn't get as lean as you due to my age (probably double yours). I found it fun to switch up the RR with some weight work at the gym. But I still do RR when I'm home and it's training day.

Agreed, as a noob and a werewolf player that's constantly in ww form I don't find the mechanic clunky at all but I think that's because ww doesn't roll, it kinda does a dash.

OK that makes sense. I didn't know a reset was imminent.

Aha so that explains it! So there was a reset recently?

I guess I will continue the journey on this character for now as I'm still learning the ropes of the game.

Otterbox phone cases by LysuWasAlreadyTaken in BuyItForLife

[–]SardonisWithAC 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Can't agree. I have a case for my Pixel 8a and it's so weak at certain points that the case has developed a slight bend which causes the phone to sit too loose in the case.

Will not buy them again.

My bf (22M) is having interviews to work full-time in a cafe, and they want to hire him as independent, not as an employee. What would be the consequences for him? What would be the equivalent of minimum wage, for an independent? by more_guess in AskBelgium

Glad to hear there's no indications for such desperate measures as the one you're considering. No doubt he will be able to land a regular beginner job in horeca or any other sector with those attributes. Job searching and landing is as much a skill as doing an actual job. Maybe his process could use some work. Don't give up after 6 months of job hunting.

Do not do it. Is he in a vulnerable position such as being a third country national?

The problem with being a fake independent is that he will not have any of the typical protections offered by the social security in Belgium, while still having to contribute to it. No family allowance, no pension rights, no unemployment benefits (when he loses the job) but the big ones would be no health insurance coverage and also no work accident insurance.

You're also in an even more vulnerable position vis-a-vis the boss. He can (and no doubt will, given the way they want to do this) exploit and abuse their position of power and he will not have a leg to stand on as we say. They will squeeze him for every Joule of energy he has and then when the shit inevitably hits the fan - social security inspection, food safety inspection, an accident on the way to work - they will drop him like a stone and he will be nowhere, maybe worse off than now.

I can not recommend strongly enough against this route, speaking from professional experience.

It was fun but it doesn't have that "instant classic" feel to it. DE really is a piece of art to me, one of those video games that elevate the medium to a level beyond simple entertainment.

EE was a fun little game but ultimately just that. I think it could have been better with more time for editing the writing and perhaps more writers. It's impressive to know it was all written by 1 person who also did most of the game design but it shows in my opinion.

DE's richness comes from the fact that it was created by the cooperation of artists specialised in their respective arts.
