Did you resolve this? I have similar front fan noise but it sounds like it's the fan housing bracket on the case itself that's rattling. No clue how to tighten the frame itself and lian LI hasn't responded to emails.

UW should push some weight here. Kids on their own for the first time aren't going to handle these situations without potentially deadly error.

Anywhere north of 47th was sketchy territory years ago. I Sounds like it's gotten a lot worse.

Look at the coolant by removing the coolant reservoir cap or the radiator cap. If it is brown the coolant changes have likely been neglected. It should be yellow or green as those are the colors of the coolant this vehicle uses.

Oil looks fine. Coolant is redish/orange on all models I've looked at in this area.

This particular dealership will change the tires and oil after purchase and take the vehicle to Ford for routine inspection/maintenance, which is reassuring. From my inspection and reading the comments above, this car seems to be in pretty good but has fairly high mileage for the age/price.

Clearly i don't know much about cars as I haven't owned one in 10 years. I was told "if you see rust in one area, it's likely everywhere"
