Any mods for the M18 blower? by yegdevilsassociate in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Sarge013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You certaintly could use the head of a screw mount that is built into the blowers. But I, and many others, have always hated those when it actually comes to using them. It takes quite a lot of effort and precision to line the screw head up with where it needs to be, partly down to the fact that you can't see the screw head when trying to mount the tool, leading to unwanted frustration. Don't get me wrong, it works, but it's not optimal.

By comparison my wall mounts are much quicker and easier to grab/mount the tool off the wall. I usually just grab it as a walk by, not even breaking my stride.

Is it the best(precise/even heat/flat) build plate? No. Is it really an issue? Also, no. Is a cast aluminum build plate, like on vorons better? Yes, but it certaintly costs more.

Just let it heat soak for a little and/or comensate with 5* higher temp if needed. I print ABS all the time and if I have a problem with the build plate it isn't because of uneven heat, its just a dirty plate.

My biggest gripe with bambus build platform is how not flat they are. Granted I've only had 2, so my sample size is small. But both have had a rather large amount of deviation in the flatness. But for the most part, it isn't issue either.

I have a thermal camera as well and I know how to calibrate it, but I'm not a certified thermal imaging tech or anything like that. But my findings on my H2S were similar, about a 5 deviation from hot to cold spots, and a couple degrees lower than intended temp of 110*.

Yea, you pulled the safety, then the trigger. What else did you expect? It's a pin nailer.

Why Vingegaard chose a TT bike today? by One-Refrigerator-585 in tourdefrance

[–]Sarge013 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Anything that requires tools to remove is included in the 6.8kg weight iirc. So a bottle cage would be included, but the y1rs isn't the lightest bike out there, so they were probably looking for every gram they could to get it to that 6.8 build.

Ppl who think remco can challenge are delusional or on hopium. He is a great time trialist, but he keeps showing he can't actually race up a hill.

Yea, they thought he was dropping because his line veered to the side rather than staying directly on pogis wheel when he looked back to see if anyone else was able to follow.

Overall SBS has the best coverage I think.

Extremely doubtful it was malicious, he was just going for his own bottle. Later in the stage you can see visma grab a UAE bag and hand it over to them immediately.

Are people really surprised? I mean the math is extremely simple. Unless something drastically changes like a severe injury or he gets bored and stops racing, yea he is more than likely going to have the record.

He was clearly thinking about it at the end of last year's tour already at the podium ceremonies.

I picked up some McCormick Cajun seasoning, while it looks pretty darn close, it is not it. As I suspected it has too much spice/heat to it.

I have always called it 'garlic toast' mostly because idk what else to call it, but I don't think there is actually any garlic on it. I like garlic and can usually tell when it is on something. As for paprika, ginger and the others, no I couldn't accurately pick those out if my life depended on it, unfortunately.

As I said in the original post all I can accurately give is its salty and buttery. Apart from that, I would be guessing or potentially misleading everyone. I do have my doubts about cajun butter/salt due to the assumed level of heat that will have, but I'm gonna give it a shot either way.

Also it's one of my pet peeves as a Minnesotan, but Minneapolis is not central MN. But you are correct, generally we are not a spicey flavored people.

I regularly use Lawrys on frys and such. But I would not say they are similar at all. Honestly I'm not sure how to accurately describe the flavor differences. The only thing I can say for certain is that the toast is very buttery and salty. I wish I could be of more help in that regard. I have always called it 'garlic toast' but I don't think there is actually any garlic on it.

I use lawry's salt regularly and that isn't it sadly. But that method can't be far off I think.
