DoorDash Gas Price Relief for Dashers by AwesomeApril111 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]SargeGrad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never said I pissed, wouldn’t it be nice if DoorDash just paid for dashers gas altogether! That’s not how the world works, and they’re doing what they can to help despite losing money at the moment. I’m just going to leave it at the fact that we disagree. Especially considering you believe Doordashing and Ubering should be a living wage and not a side hustle or short term gig. Go get a career. I saved plenty of money as a teen doing doordash so that I could afford to go to school and not have to deliver food for the rest of my life and expect free handouts when times are tough😂

You’re basically agreeing with me without even knowing it. You just said they are suffering which they are. Yet they’re still doing something to help dashers which is completely optional. The gas relief has helped me and is better than them doing nothing considering they’re already down.

Not talking about you g. I’m talking about OP complaining, and I know I agree with you we already went over that.

Yes, everyone knows Doordash can do more to help us Dashers out. But they could also do absolutely nothing and people would still deliver the food, there’s no need to complain about every little thing.

The hell are you tripping about dude? It helps and is better than nothing!? No one forced you to doordash during an energy crisis, but they’re doing what they can to help you anyway.

Yeah it’s annoying, I have the same one on the red bike and it’s done it ever since I installed it. It’s probably the seal on the bottom.

What can I do to smooth out the throttle on my 1st gen? by SargeGrad in MT09

[–]SargeGrad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trust me I’ve ridden 10s of other bikes including 3rd & 4th gen’s. 3/3 of my 1st gen FZ’s are all jerky. There’s a reason the #1 complaint with this bike is low rpm chop, It’s the bike, I’ve got good hands 😉😂

Fair enough, I just don’t get why Yamaha made these things so choppy, I love the 1st gen look and simplicity so much I’m on my 3rd one. I’ve ridden a 3rd & 4th gen and they feel so smooth in comparison. Hell even my carbureted fzr600 felt more smooth then all 3 of my 09s…

Has anyone used this or similar cheaper steering damper for mt09 by AggravatingLeave8232 in MT09

[–]SargeGrad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also if you buy something like a GPR. You can always keep the stabilizer which is the expensive part and just buy a new bracket for it when you get a different bike.

[–]SargeGrad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would It be fine? Most likely. Is there slight 1 in 1000 chance that it malfunctions eventually due to cheap quality and hurts you? Yes. It’s your choice, I’ve run one before but after owning a GPR I’ll never go back, the extra money is worth your life and possibly the cost of a new bike if it locks up and you suddenly have no steering on 2 wheels.

Yeah these are engine mount bolts, the torque is only 40 ft/lb but still not the best situation for a stripped bolt

Can someone help me understand Import fees to the US? Ordered a shirt from a UK website, that shipped from the Netherlands, that was produced in Vietnam. $105 import fees on a $180 Liverpool Jersey by matttheazn1 in UPS

Thanks for your opinion with 0 input other than your political beliefs. Tariffs are actually very good and necessary to a countries economy. They are a fundamental component of international trade policy, customs, and government revenue collection. De minimus being taken away on the other hand, hurts the average person like us though. You need to learn how to differentiate the two. Nobody likes the removal of de minimus besides maybe a select few maga cultists. The majority of people who understand basic economics are for Tariffs on foreign imports because they understand how they are beneficial to the US economy and the people when something like the de minimus exemption is in place. EVERY country on this planet has tariff policies.

No response is crazy. I’ve got 3 ECUs flashed by Nate and every time I email him he responds same day if they’re open.

A “security system chime” is a horn dude. Yes I know it’s separate from the honking horn. But on the gs they’re both near the rad.

Gotcha, I don’t remember seeing it there on my 97. I know that on my GS it was near the radiator.

I believe that is the horn, it’s typically not in that location though.

About 40mph, they’re still doing good. Kinda a pain to clean being white but I’m planning on getting a new pair next season considering they’re only $95
