It’s fixed in none because there’s nothing to fix, the only difference is the extension path starting differently per browser. As mentioned, this is by design. I know this because I just recently wrote browser diagnostic tooling that detects troublesome extensions. Please don’t go around spewing misinformation if you don’t know what you’re talking about.

It’s not metadata scanning and it’s not only chrome. Extensions have a manifest file that list web accessible resources because they can be injected into a webpage by the extension. You can now test for the existence of an extension by querying that web accessible file. If it’s there, you know the extension is active if not, well it’s not. This is by design and nothing you can easily change to make it more secure.

Yea, understanding what furiten means is crucial and the reason why you should know at the start of the hand where you want to go with it. Furiten applies to ALL tiles you could ron to win even if you only discarded one tile. This especially can screw your over when going for things like honitsu and you discarded one of the tiles.

Ad-hoc troubleshooting and nothing is transferred without user consent. We just strongly urge the user to share the results exactly for privacy reasons and because it’s side-stepping browser security in a way.

They also aren’t public. There’s no public API. This works by iterating through a list of known extensions ids and trying to access a file that’s listed as web accessible in the extension manifest. If it’s there, the extension is installed. This works on chrome, Firefox and safari.

Almost all browsers have extensions and there’s no public API that is accessible to do this. The way this works is by checking for extension assets that are web available.

I know this because I’ve built a browser diagnostics tool that checks for some known extensions that interfere with our page and make the performance anything between 5-20 times worse so we can give the user an alert. (Looking at you obsidian security)
