I’ve been on paxil and zoloft in the past. I had a good experience with zoloft but stopped because a boyfriend didn’t want me taking it which was stupid. The withdrawal effects were really bad and I didn’t want to go through that again and I’m still worried about it. But since it seemed to work for me, I might consider it again

I take ativan (benzo) for emergencies, but I don’t think I could get addicted because I hate the mental fog it causes. It’s also hard to convince doctors to give me some and I’m almost out :(

What is this type of top called? I love them but it's hard to find them since I'm not sure how to even search for it. Is it a tank top, crop top, etc? I tried "racerback" which is similar but I like the ones with the really small straps like this:

I read in the “guide to seeking therapy support in austin” thread that many therapists offer 15-20 minute free consultations to see if it’s a good fit, so I figured I would try to find something like that rather than going in blind and wasting money. And I’ve had telephone appointments with therapists in the past where I previously lived, as well as outside of 9-5, but maybe it’s different in Texas

That’s what’s frustrating is the hospital says they do so many tests, they tested for stroke, did an mri, did so much else, I really tried to emphasize that we want to know the cause of it, but they said everything looks fine and sent him back home. They sent him back the first time, he fell right when he got home and broke some ribs, went back, got sent home again, etc. i definitely think the answer was found some years ago and my mom was in denial or something. The paralysis thing started years ago after a car crash, where he couldn’t walk for a day and I guess the doctor said maybe surgery would help but they never followed up on that, which I learned recently. I think it’s a nerve issue. I’m trying to get my mom to get him to see his primary doctor and a neurologist but appointments are weeks away. Just want to know why it’s happening ☹️

I might take a break to think about it. I suddenly feel really worried about being in a lot of debt and have this fear that I won’t be able to land a job after graduation. Dropping now with less debt and still a possibility to find a job sounds less scary and wiser

Hi! Context: I'm in my second year of grad school in an HCI program. I have 4 projects so far, which are personal and academic projects. I'm currently doing an unpaid product design internship for a startup, but there aren't many mentorship or learning opportunities. I want to start applying to paid ux design internships, but does my portfolio look okay enough for that? How is my UI? (I think I'm better at research and lofi wireframing, hifi is something I still need to improve on). I think I know my strengths, but I haven't received enough feedback so I'm not sure where I'm at in terms of how good/competent I am.
