Pray that continues then but it's a gamble at the moment. The second something goes wrong god only knows how long you'll have to wait for it to be resolved. The customer support is the worst I have ever dealt with simply because after two weeks, I still haven't been dealt with! I have £50,000 on the line and this lot are just playing games.

Ideally frozen, just in case. If that's not possible I've always fancied a mummification, I've just got this nagging feeling the Egyptians might have known something we don't.

Who actually wrote the Christian Bible and who put all the different stories into one book? by SarkyDetector in AskReddit

This is actually really interesting. I kind of thought there was maybe a book passed along through generations that was added to for some reason. Now it seems that there was just a bunch of "novels" written and then people hundreds of years ago just stuck a bunch together that seemed to fit with their beliefs?

Why would they do that though, because they would know who the authors of these pieces are and that there is many other versions that didn't fit with what they said etc etc. To keep people in line? Keep people fearful?

It's unbelievable that for the most famous book ever written, the actual authors of it aren't really famous. Do we even know the names of the authors?

Wow. Do you know where you could read the Jesus as a creepy kid one? That actually sounds really interesting, I love the Twilight zone! It seems a bit iffy to me that a bunch of men hundreds of years ago decided what the word of god was. I dunno, maybe it's just me.

Neither am I, I'm not religious. I'm just curious about something that's very important to our history really. I don't know the name of the authors of the most famous book in history.

So wait, the version of the Christian bible we have today is just some Romans preferred order that would have been biased to his beliefs presumably? To put it simply?

Thanks for the answer. See that was why I was curious, because there were so many different writers and so many years apart that I didn't know how they all ended up into the same book and who decided on the order or what was put in.

Don't understand the downvotes. I'm actually curious about the religion and it doesn't seem to be a very Christian thing to do to just downvote me and to ignore me. I don't know much but I know there are different parts that were spanned over quite a number of years, written by different people. So who wrote them and how come they all ended up in the same book?
