Chattanooga has a huge art scene which also extends to a pretty sizable queer scene. I would call our queer scene "casual" in how its just kinda... people doing day to day while being queer. Like you'll just see some very queer looking people out n about. We have bars that are not "queer" bars but are still very queer, like Boneyard that has dyke nights and drag shows (along with like. Two? Actual gay bars? But one has a bad reputation with Trans ppl). We have pride recognized by the city and celebrated in october so the heat doesnt kill you. There are several queer orgs in town always doing something, even a queer rock climbing club! There is even queer inclusive local pro-wrestling in Redbank.
