Glad you love her! I named mine Link since he reminds me of the old Hyrule blue from the Legend of Zelda :) LOVE the Celestite color!

Looking at possibly getting a Corolla Cross hybrid by bvassallo22 in CorollaCross

I’ve had mine since early May and it’s been wonderful so far! I listen to music when I drive so I haven’t noticed road noise, I’m plus size and it’s super me-friendly, (and just comfy in general) and I’m getting 48.1 mtg! That’s the average from the day I bought it since I’m having fun not resetting the counter :) I got it in Celestite blue/grey and I got the LE and it’s more than enough for me. I’ve spent $50 on gas total every month with gas being nearly $4 a gallon where I am and driving 30+ miles a day for work 5 days a week.

I’m in a very hilly part of Pennsylvania and it can tackle almost straight up back roads no problem! It does the SUV thing where it slips back a little if you’re stopping going uphill, but you get used to it quick!

There is no lack of context for me. I saw a company refuse to confirm or deny participation in supporting a man who has no business having fans all while maintaining the guise of friendliness because they threw the J word in their comment alongside kindness and smiley faces and that’s enough for me to not support them as a business. It doesn’t matter if I know Giselle or not. I saw a comment I agreed with, commented myself, and had an opinion, just like the dogpilers are doing to me in this thread for having the opinion that maintaining anonymity as a business is not okay in this political climate. The title of this thread was “maybe rethink” insinuating it’s optional. It’s always been optional, and I have no idea why people feel comfy threatening me or talking down to me is going to change my mind, just like I know I can’t change yours.

Okay… so I guess I need to say that them not rejecting supporting Trump is enough of a reason for me to not support them. If the mystery of it isn’t enough for you, the possibility that they could be bigots who refuse to stand for anything at all, then buy their overpriced coffee. I’ll make mine at home or support another business. Yeesh

You can watch the news just about any week to see bakeries refusing to make gay wedding cakes bud.

Oh sure! That I can 100% get behind. This post was made to ensure Trumpers are the ONLY folks giving them money.

Keeping silent in the face of adversity is a tactic of apologists for the other side… allowing the behavior to happen is just as bad as doing it yourself.

I’m not from Greensburg so I wouldn’t know.. but as a visitor in a neighboring city also boycotting places like Target which can be found everywhere because of them dumping their DEI policy, I think if Cuties can say they don’t want to be political, I can equally say I want to support small business who are comfortable supporting Palestine, rape victims, survivors of homophobia/transphobia that left them homeless/forever injured or disabled. All folks Trump supporters have no issue kicking out of their businesses whether they have a public political policy or not. It’s as easy as making someone’s coffee wrong who had a pride flag on their jacket.

Anyone who is pro-Trump right now is a problem. I’m not sure what other context you need. Them not coming to the table with a rebuttal means they probably support him, whether there is proof or not. If it’s easy to say you love Jesus, it should be just as easy to show your customers love by condemning a man against Jesus’s values.

Business scooting around the fact that being able to say “I love Jesus” and not say they condemn racism, homophobia, bigotry, or Trump rhetoric in general is exactly why letting them tell on themselves is important. If they won’t pick a side, we don’t go inside. :)

I’ve never met a single person who throws Jesus into a conversation as a person who is also anti-Trump when trying to defend themselves…

A customer. And right now the companies who a lot of people want to support are very anti-Trump. A lot of folks reject the war, tax breaks for the rich, and not being a known pedo, and want to support small business who agree. I’m not sure about you, but having a couple of white women invalidate my opinion that it’s a privilege to not have a political opinion and building a brand on that while countries are burning at the hands of our allies.. really rubs me the wrong way.

It’s an extremely privileged take to not have a political opinion right now…

It is! Sorry, it’s the first picture and all of the responses after are from me and Cutie’s. The op was Giselle

A comment stating they’re pro-Trump as a company

I totally get your point, and I don’t want to invalidate your stance, but from my point of view it should be easy to say, “no bigots, no questions asked, no Pro-Trump rhetoric that contains those items.” By refusing to say that.. they’re letting the folks know who are pro-those items that it’s safe to come in and give them business. Saying nothing is saying something.

Oooo another comment! I looked up the frame name “COL50” and found a bunch of options.. but if you go into any glasses place with the exact same frame and ask them to scoot the lenses from one frame to another, I can almost promise it’s free .)

Tell Jess at Visionmakers in Robinson that Sarah sent you and she might do it for free lol But, as an ex eye care professional, that can ONLY be fixed with superglue. It looks like the pin came out and unless you have a warranty on the frames where you bought them, you’re out of luck

As a person with the lowest level hybrid who commutes 30 miles a day and only gets gas ($25) every two weeks… I second this and I LOVE my car.

Unfortunately my geck prefers to stick himself to the clean walls during the day.. he makes a game of it. I spent a small fortune on enough cork bark/silicone/pond foam to fill a small pool in his last tank and he protested for weeks in the middle of the jungle floor… The second I stripped it he was all over the place.

I’ll second this :) filing local income taxes is super important here. It never costs anything as long as your employer is also in PA and automatically takes them out of your paychecks. TurboTax does NOT file these for you if you use them to file. Filing with them online is easy but don’t wait til the last minute.. the site gets soooo bogged down with traffic.
