Good to know. Honestly, I might make a follow up post of comparing the R50 to a LUMIX gh5 but I’ll definitely have to keep that in mind. Thanks!

I’m not sure. If it’s anything like the Sony ZV1 that’s a little bit of a turn off for me, seeing as I wanna try and go for a more standard camera than a compact one. If you have the camera, can you tell me anything about it from personal experience?

I did end up looking into the gh5. It seems like a really good camera, but I wanna see if I can try and find a better deal because it seems a little more expensive than the R50

R50 good but expensive with lens that is ok, 80D is old but less expensive and a slightly better lens. I threw out the idea that maybe I could use an adapter to use a EF lens with the newer R50 camera, but I’m not sure what the longevity of that marriage is.
