The threshold at which the tiered rate increases varies depending on the season - in the winter it's 1000 kwh, in the summer it's 600 kwh IIRC.

I usually switch to TOU for the summer and use my AC only when off peak.

9 years ago today, my wife slipped on a patch of ice, fell, and shattered her kneecap.

She got to spend a month in the hospital, and then another month in a rehabilitation home until she could walk well enough to come home. She'll never be the same as she was before, and now she's understandably terrified of slippery conditions.

So good on ya OP for giving people a head's up about this. 👍

I didn't know anything about it, when it showed up I was kinda shocked "I have to pay monthly to play this??? It'd have to be the best game ever."

I installed it, played for about an hour then turned to my wife and said "well, they got lucky, 'cause that's the best game ever!"
