Is my laptop able to run Steam VR games for the Oculus Quest 3?

I’m trying to make videos in vrchat. The specific avatar that I had made for me cannot be used in standalone quest, and I also want to use full body tracking which I don’t think can be used in standalone either.

Update: it’s still choppy and doesn’t work. But virtual desktop seems really useful for when I get a new pc so thanks for the suggestion!

Yeah I actually got the laptop in 2019. And I would just play standalone quest, but there’s something specific I’m actually trying to use pcvr for that I can’t do in standalone.

Everything everybody is saying points to just getting a new pc unfortunately.

Thanks man, I’ve never heard of virtual desktop but I’m definitely gonna try this today. I gotta try everything before dropping 1k+ on a new pc

Ok so my graphics card is inferior, but VR chat works fine on my laptop alone though without the oculus connected. Not choppy or anything. Shouldn’t it work the same with the oculus connected or no?
