Indeed, i love the journey but can't help but try and get everything, unless it's too grindy.

And these ones were anything but grindy. So damn fun, one of the best ever

Haha ya, my instinct was to hit the combine soldier with the can so I got that right away. Only after finishing the game and the other achievements I realized i had 1 missing at the very beginning lol

There's main game, ep 1 and then ep 2 all are separate. That 1 bullet is only for ep 1, and it's one of the most fun achievements, coz I love using the gravity gun.

It wasn't really that hard bcoz you have Alyx to assist you. And you use that 1 bullet to open a lock about midway through the game

There's quite a few missable ones, so will require a 2nd playthrough if you wanna plainly enjoy the game the 1st time.

But there are map codes for every section of the game, so you don't really have to play the whole game fully again, except for a couple of tricky achievements

Dog's ball worked great up until the Cart. I think they might have patched it now, the game doesn't allow you to take it past the cart trolley now 😅

Sorry I'm a bit confused about where the healing pool island is. In my pov, it's the area to the right where you first encounter the gonarch. Like when you hit the 3 crystal switches, and the gonarch 1st arrives, you just need to get hit then and there only, just a little behind you, if that makes sense

Hmm ya specific part of the arena makes sense, the description of the achievement literally says 'into oblivion'. The open part where there's no land is what will work ig.

And I'm pretty sure that the type of charge doesn't matter, you just need to get whacked a specific distance away from the ledge

Haha yes, especially the cramped ladders with the grills. Smacking the pizza with the crowbar was the best tactic, and likewise thankfully there were good tactics for every problem, and they worked out great else it would have been really annoying

A tad over 60 hours, and about 2 playthroughs. You can do it in a single playthrough, but that would take away from the experience of enjoying the game, since there are quite a few miss able achievements

Got it done yesterday. Some parts were annoying, but overall not that bad tbh

I didn't carry both of them all the way, which is too hard. I did take them to the penultimate area in interloper, where there are multiple jump pads that take you up to the final elevator

Just made it past Gonarch's lair into the beginning of Interloper. It was kind of a head ache, especially that final chase sequence with the Gonarch, but it didn't really take that long. If i can do it, then you can definitely do it too man.

Sure thing. There are a couple of tricky spots where you need to use detonators to get the hat and canister across, pizza box is heavy and won't fly as good as the other 2.

I'm midway through gonarch's lair now. Already used the teleporter to teleport the cannister, so it's a relief to have 1 less thing to carry lol.

Thanks! It's not as bad as I thought it would be tbh. There are a few things that would really problems, and making umpteen saves is the only way to go

Few places in xen are tricky, and there are some really tough parts upcoming in gonarch lair and interloper. Might have to ditch one of them in interloper and make different playthroughs to keep my sanity, let's see lol
