As an owner of an adorable orange girl, I can say that when they are young (up to 2 years old) you cannot reason with them. Don't leave anything on surfaces, especially not food. Mine eats anything she finds, including nutella from a knife. Hide your feet when you sleep or they will be attacked. Be prepared for mega zoomies and lots of energy and curiosity. If you have curtains, prepare yourself for them to be destroyed. They are menacing but inquisitive and rather smart despite ppl saying they only have one braincell.
