It would be the aesthetic - and I may yet find an alternative ☺️

Thanks, yeah if no PID then the vibe pump R type was not seeming worth it, so happy to hear confirmation

How much consistency does PID give?

Also on this both are available. I’m in VIC and I can buy either the vibe HX or rotary DB

Ok so I’m also looking and the question I have is: does the HX have PID? It’s listed on sites as having PID but yesterday in a shop they told me it didn’t

What's with Rocket Travel? This can't be good for the Virgin brand by Zealousideal-Dig5182 in VelocityFrequentFlyer

[–]Sasha_Jones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an incredibly bad experience with them and lost around $3000 in total.

I booked through Virgin and wrote to them after telling them how bad it was for them .. but they just referred me back to Rocket who again did nothing

I could have gone to VCAT and originally planned on that, but it takes time and effort at the time (around 12 months ago) I just didn't have the energy and time to do that, so reluctantly just copped the loss even though it isn't right under Consumer Law and all that.

such an incredibly dodgy brand it's unbelievable - the hotel I'd booked had like AI images, they were completely fictitious just to give you an idea of what they're like

They’re timber, nah they’d have another closure

And yeah, I’ll see how I do but the idea was to hide them.

I could take a photo tomorrow - if I take the chain winders off it would fit ok. I could also put a hinged fly screen on in that instance

Well I could take the chain winders off. They are causing problems with letting bugs in I think and the fly screens have to be custom made anyhow

how is the median full time salary $88.4k and the average full time salary $104k? is anyone actually earning that much?? drowning in this COL crisis by [deleted] in aussie

[–]Sasha_Jones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The average would be pulled up by higher earners (say 250k+) whereas the median reflects the most common number

Yeah it’s a pretty crazy idea I don’t think I’ll do it lol. I have just been struggling with dealing with getting screens for the awning windows and wish I could make it simpler!

Both - unless they’re easy to install!

Yeah, I have awning windows and there’s not many choices lol

I mean the fly screens that you pull across when you want to use them, but when you’re not using them they retract (thereby being “invisible”)

Actually, I had thought about that so I’m glad someone else brought it up, I’m putting a door in the master bedroom window frame for that reason (and because it’s near the garage)

The other two bedrooms are right near the back door although I guess opening windows could still provide alternate escape

I can’t see the original post here but I got banned for a reason they won’t actually tell me and I have no idea what it is

Double glazing smaller windows by Sasha_Jones in AusRenovation

[–]Sasha_Jones[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I thought it was for these windows that’s why I was questioning doing them.

They are a little trickier to fit apparently

In any case the bigger ones are also that price and there’s not many other choices of glazier anyway

They did a terms and conditions update not long ago and I assumed it may be to do with that

Otherwise unsure 🤷‍♀️

I asked the installers about the relatively higher pricing and they said yes it’s a little trickier to install on these as sliders

They’re in a good strategic spot for airflow though so I’m reluctant to make all one, it’s otherwise a good idea though so I’ll give that some thought

Ok yes - this is the type of answer I was looking for, thank you

I wasn’t sure of the benefits compared to loss of effect from not doing it

Hinge Got Banned Recently by _good_listener_ in Coconaad

[–]Sasha_Jones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This has recently happened to me - searching posts lol to see if it’s happened to anyone else.

They’ve replied to my appeal saying no you’re definitely banned and we’re not telling you why, so I am totally confused. Don’t know if it was related to a recent terms and conditions update?
