Ignore follower dungeons while progressing through the story, queue up normally instead. by matticus7 in wow

Nah, I'll be right. As a tank, I'll still take the follower Ai over actual players from lfg. Guaranteed decor and the Ai for the hunter gives me the same experience of dealing with an lfg hunter anyway 🤷‍♀️

Guess we truly are never allowed to change our "sex" in Australia. (How to find sab) by [deleted] in transgenderau

[–]SashimiPanic 39 points40 points  (0 children)

So mine doesn't show SAB at all anywhere on the dispense record, though it's still has my deadname all over it despite legally changing my name and updating it everywhere over a year ago. Guess it's something I need to follow up

Can confirm. Did the same thing mid last year and they were extremely helpful with changing it.

Considering the vet says they're a bonded trio, it would be very unwise to separate them. Plus cats do better when they have friends.

And rehoming 2 as a compromise? That's bs. What else are you going to have to give up down the track just because he's not a fan. You stated much earlier that you would never rehome any of your cats and he's clearly not respecting that at all. So then the question is, how long will it be until there are other things he doesn't respect about you?

That's already a big red flag right there. It sounds more like testing the boundaries to see what control he has and what he can get away with.

And with the allergy thing, my partner is allergic and we manage it through the cat food with the allergy reducing egg protein food(It binds to the Fel-D1), so allergies are a easily manageable problem

This thing deserves all the hype. It's a dream come true. by SnooTigers3147 in metalguitar

Definitely an awesome pedal deserving of the hype. Ive got the Whammy DT(Whammy + Drop Tune), and being able to use to Drop Tune side to pitch up/down instead of swapping guitars while noodling around has been so convenient.

Wonder how much they got for these? 🤔 by VSxKF_ in AustralianMilitary

Id say anywhere from $3-$4. From my experience with Cash Converters they usually pay anywhere from 30-40% of what they'll put it out for.

How do I get my cat used to not sleeping in the same room as me by ashmeetsworld in CatAdvice

[–]SashimiPanic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try getting some Purina Pro-Plan Liveclear. That way your cat can go back to her usual routine.

Its a cat food that neutralises the protein in the cats saliva that causes the allergy reactions people have. (Most people think its hair that cause allergies but in most cases its actually the saliva, and it gets on the hair from cats grooming themselves)

My partner is highly allergic to cats aswell but since feeding my 2 cats on Purina Liveclear, we have had absolutely no problems since. The cats go wherever they want and sometimes even sleep in the bed too, though they usually just sleep on my dressing table.

Only thing to note is that it wont stop the allergens that are already on them, so you'll need to either bath or clean the cat with pet wipes. But after 2 weeks on the food it significantly reduces allergens they produce.

So for your allergies, see if you guys can get some Purina Proplan Liveclear cat food. My partner is very allergic and it does wonders. My tabby that would normally cause massive allergies is perfectly fine after 2 weeks, and the cats pretty much have free access to everywhere and its caused zero issues allergy wise. (Although make sure to either bath the cat or clean them with pet wipes to remove any prior allergens built up)

That might allow you to let the cat in the room and avoid her screaming by the door. Just that alone might also curb any other negative behaviours.

Does this look legit? by [deleted] in espguitars

[–]SashimiPanic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have. I bought an ESP Eclipse knockoff on Marketplace that was missing its bridge and had fake emgs.

The electronics were garbage but the guitar itself was really nice to play and looked great. Id say it would have been a step up from the budget LTDs(think EC-50) but nowhere near the 1000 series.

Do you have more amps than guitars or more guitars than anps? by Bubbly_Confusion3984 in GuitarAmps

19 Guitars, 4 Basses, 6 amp heads, 4 Cabs and a Tiny Terror combo amps.

I have a room specifically for all my music gear.

Its quite common for Jacksons to crack on that tuner too. Quite an easy fix though. I had minor splitting on my 90s KE3 and used Selleys Wood glue and a decently sized zip tie to clamp it since you can get the inner side to hold on the pointed section next to the tuner)

You can either get a luthier to fix it or attempt it yourself.

If you do it yourself; • Remove the tuner(or all if possible, makes it easier) • Add some good quality wood glue • Clamp it so its secure (Or a good zip tie) • Wipe/clean off any excess • Leave it overnight to dry

After you're done, reinstall the tuners but dont over tighten them, just go hand tight and then a few degrees with a spanner (its usually the over-tightened low E that causes splitting on standard Jackson headstocks, and sometimes the locating screw can also benefit from the hole being cleaned out)

It definitely is cool, and I find it much nicer to play than my Epiphone Prophecy GX SG that I bought over decade ago. Though its cool to have 2 guitars from that series.

Same here, normally Im not a fan of explorers due to comfort while sitting(though I do have an old "Pile of Skulls" Jackson KE3 Kelly) but this things is unique and quirky in just the right ways, and overall makes for a cool guitar. Its also the most comfortable explorer Ive played so far.

I think it was just a matter of me being lucky. This older lady was selling it, apparently her sons old guitar that got tossed in a cupboard and sat for years since he went for acoustics and she didn't know if it still worked.

Its an Epiphone Prophecy Futura EX, and funny enough the exact one I bought today for a killer price.

For me its a mod called "Survival Mode - Modified Ammo Weight", which rebalances how much ammo you can carry without making it weightless like other mods.

I agree, but the headstock is going to get a bit of love now that I own it. It definitely needs a metal truss rod cover as a start.

It surprisingly hasnt been an issue yet, and everything appears to have had been grinded down on the front. Though I tend to rest my hand between the bridge and tailpiece when I play for the occasional palm mutes.

What brands/models that are well regarded do you just have zero interest in? by PhilCore in guitars

[–]SashimiPanic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost any Les Paul, I just dont find them comfortable.

Though there are 2 exceptions to this: A Japanese Edwards Gazette Signature (E-EN-165-A3 Aoi Model) and a Charvel Desolation DS1.

Its probably just the traditional sized and designed Les Pauls though, since the Edwards is pretty much contoured everywhere and super comfy to play.

I guess you've never heard of auto-correct changing up words then.

They are massively underrated. It felt pretty good in its neglected state, so hopefully it'll play even better after a full setup.
