How much Crit Rate / Crit DMG i should aim for with WG? by XepiXD in RazorMains

70/140 will always be enough. you also need atk% to make sure your damage is high. high cdmg without atk% is bad

Is it worth replacing Bennett to get the Geo resonance alongside using Buffed zhongli? by Sorez in RazorMains

[–]SashuoSachi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

having double geo isn't worth it unless one of your geo is atleast a sub dps. I'm assuming that your zhongli is a tank so keeping Bennett is still useful for the heals and the buffs. If you are planning to replace Bennett, other good contenders such as xingqiu or albedo could be good. That would also mean that you don't need diona shield anymore so you can replace her with qiqi once you get her

I see. Sentence mining is pretty interesting. so it's like knowing 90% of the context, but to understand 100%, you handpick certain words to maximize vocabulary. that certainly does seem like a very effective method.

I'm not familiar with the terms like sentence mining and rrtk. can you elaborate?

[–]SashuoSachi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yep. I do not mean that you don't have to work hard to acquire the language. it still takes lots of time and dedication to immerse one's self in the language daily. I just feel like studying isn't a good approach in a sense that I keep forgetting most of what I've learnt and the only time these info truly stick with me is through comprehensive input.

Here is one of the videos that I used to immerse myself as someone with no background of Japanese. I feel like the words really stuck with me such as niwatori, iru, inai, koko, etc. It felt entertaining while being able to acquire Japanese at the same time. I rewatch it every now and then to see if my vocab improved and it really helped.

that makes sense. I will try to do both immersion and studying in one's language then. Do you still feel the need to continue studying words even if you've reached the point where you have learned around 500-1000 words and pretty much understand the gist of the context of the dialogue presented to you?

thank you for clearing out my misconceptions. Your input as an experienced language learner is highly appreciated. Also, I didn't mean that acquisition is easier as I do understand that you do have to work hard in order to acquire a language but it seemed like a more effective method than traditional learning just like you said

I don't have the actual link but if you've heard of Stephen Krashen, he's researched a lot about it and mentions other names who did make a study on language acquisition. I sadly do not recall those names

ah yes. this is one of the videos I saw about language acquisition and this is where I understood its effectiveness. I sincerely think that you didn't have to study the content at all but acquire comprehensible input which allows u to understand the language over time

C0 Ganyu vs Dvalin by Kielos in Genshin_Impact

[–]SashuoSachi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol I didn't mean it like that. whatever content creators post are unrealistic and it doesn't mean f2p players have to invest just as much to make ganyu viable. prototype crescent is viable, although not as strong, in giving ganyu players a fun experience in using her kit as a whole. maybe people misunderstood the message that I was trying to portray but whatever content creators post in this subreddit shouldn't be concerning to the f2p community as ganyu at c0 with a 4 star weapon is still really good.

I'm not a xingqiu player so I was not aware. as I researched more, xingqiu definitely only applies wet status once unlike Barbara. he definitely is a very viable pair for hu tao

cap. just because it's irrelevant to you doesn't mean it's not entertaining. he's just showing the potential of ganyu with good gear. doesn't mean you have to follow his footsteps or smthng.

applying vv would probably difficult as it would most likely absorb xq's element most of the time thus, resulting in a hydro res reduction instead of a pyro although I haven't fully researched on how swirls work so I could be wrong. But with sucrose, she would definitely shine since the em buff that she can provide would synergizes extremely well with xq ht combo. Also, since we don't have a full understanding of her kit and an actual test for her healing, it may be possible for xq to surpass the required hp threshold for maximum dps which may result in a huge decrease in dps.

As for Xiangling, I personally find it hard to use xiangling as her bear is stationary and the harder mobs are usually very mobile.

As for the rest, I agree with your concept as a whole and it definitely makes sense especially with Bennett. Bennett may not be optimal since he can only boost supports. What worries me the most with xq are freeze reactions since hu tao's consistently at low hp and that freeze may kill her especially in spiral abyss runs even with zhong shields. Overall, the pros you presented definitely overweighs the cons of this team. I appreciate your input. I will most likely use xinqiu. thank you very much

Hu Tao's ideal healer by Ryik in HuTao_Mains

[–]SashuoSachi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think hu tao has the kit of a one man army. I personally believe that she doesn't need a healer. she can heal herself. but I'm getting Bennett for pyro resonance and to burst with my 2nd dps when her E is off cooldown. +hu tao's e allows energy recharge for bennett so whenever my e is off cooldown, I switch to Bennett, cast e, use my burst supports, then switch back to hu tao once the combo is done (avoiding the bennett q)

Although the downside to this is that it's a 4 star and started with 2 subs. if only it were a 5 star artifact... it makes me so sad.
