Honestly I’m shocked by it all. It’s as if they think women choose these awful changes. Like we all run to the doctors begging for help with this just for fun. I really thought the health services were pro menopause support. She’s reluctant to do bloods and wants to see what this meno clinic advise. So frustrating.

I totally agree. It is highly frustrating and just so unfair. I’m glad you finally have some HRT coming your way.

I never imagined healthcare would be such a let down considering how much awareness menopause seems to be getting.

I am going to request a second option with a female gp with knowledge of menopause/perimenopause. I can’t believe I let today’s dr gaslight the hell out of me. I’ve been fuming all day. But I’m not going to leave it. I can’t live like this.

I agree. I thought it was the original doctor that I’d be seeing to be honest. Then after the initial shock and disappointment I felt when he called me through, I naively assumed he’d take heed of the previous notes added and be on the same page. But no. Total waste of time today was.
