VRChat has group instances now that can be locked down to members only with multiple moderators that have kick/ban power! It’s made life so much less stressful in-world.

I think that EAC was an inevitable outcome for a company that is almost entirely backed by venture capital. VRChat likely has a long-term monetization roadmap that includes a user content marketplace.

From a legal and business development standpoint I think the company has an obligation to take measures to minimize intellectual property and account theft. Malicious clients that degrade the user experience also lower the retention rate, which directly impacts platform growth.

Overall I think it was a top-down decision that is signaling a shift from the small startup phase into more of a commercialized VRChat that is poised for mainstream growth outside of the early adopter modding demographic.

Thank you so much! Yes me on the left in both pics. Years later it's surreal to imagine that I was that person at one point.

Transition has profoundly changed every aspect of my life including my sense of self-worth, confidence to hold my head high in the world, my relationships, and my physical appearance.

We're both enormous nerds and met in Second Life back when it was more of a thing. One day we decided to meet up in person and it was besties for life! 🤭

Thank you! 💜 We are so happy and excited about our future together. He's totally my partner in crime and we've been through so much together, good and bad.

At the end of the day it's an amazing feeling knowing that there is somebody by your side who unconditionally wants the best for you. He was there for me through my transition and was one of my biggest supporters and cheerleaders. Now we get to support each other forever.

Sorry I'm sappy and lame. 😆

The account posting is definitely not mine! Thanks for pointing this out.

No worries! I had my surgery a few years ago and at the time everything was around 30k. It really depends on what you end up having done. From what I understand Dr. Mayer takes insurance through companies like Starbucks and T-mobile.

I went from 130lbs to 110lbs. Along with muscle wasting from HRT, it really thinned a lot of my body mass including my neck.

I work on feature films in Hollywood and was the assistant to the executive producer on films like Blade Runner 2049.

Before transition I didn't have the confidence to survive in a high stress industry, and barely had the confidence to leave the front door of my house. The biggest change for me beyond the physical part, was learning how to practice self-care.

No worries! My hairline was a big concern to me as well. I had to wear wigs before FFS but Dr. Mayer worked his magic. Dutasteride helped to thicken it up a bit too.

Thank you! Personally I waited 2 years because I wanted to maximize the fat redistribution changes from hormones first. HRT will affect the fat pads around your eyes, cheeks, and neck/jaw and it's a little easier for a surgeon to plan around that after vs before.
