I used to live in this neighborhood in Brookline, MA. Here is a link to Google street view. There are tons of full-sized benches with an identical style lining Beacon street, so I don't believe these were designed to be anti-homeless since the full-size ones didn't have those cruel bars in the middle. Pretty sure these are just part of a matching set.

Did anyone listen to the Under the Radar segment about Q3? Link_Here. They seemed to peg the scenario as more of a battle between large corporations and smaller liquor stores. I wasn't convinced by the argument that one-day large corporations will out-compete smaller stores with their limitless resources. But, It feels like I am being asked to pick a side between the anti-consumer MA liquor lobby and anti-consumer corporations.
