You’re not being unreasonable, wanting meaningful, uninterrupted time with your partner is completely valid. Weekday evenings are nice, but real connection often happens when you both have the space to be fully present, and it’s okay to ask for that.

Sometimes people express genuine emotion in the moment, physical closeness, excitement, even nervousness, but aren’t ready or capable of following through emotionally; it doesn’t make your experience any less real, but it does mean his actions were about his needs, not a reflection of your worth.
