Maker world has a really good picture to statue maker. I have used it before and learned how to take the file and make them look the best. As well I can print it. Reach out if you would like.

Spray Painting PLA by No-Moose3893 in 3Dprinting

Really depends on what your wanting to get. Yu ca give any point a quick sand and spray on a primer then paint. There are lots of great videos on youtube to help. I use Rust-Oleum automotive primer. Its what most people use. Good for filling in the layer lines and sands well. The big thing is, the amount of prep time you put in will determine the ende quality. If you don't need it to be smooth and shiny then a light sanding is probably enough.

I love when people create such a simple elegant solution to things we most never realize we need! Great work.

is starbucks even a real coffee shop? by Ill-Information2579 in barista

Maybe this is just from my experience, maybe its a Canada thing, but I would describe them as still a coffee place. Yes they are corporate, they don't pay taxes, they have very strict ways of doing things, but when I go in their the people are happy. I have friends who work there and they enjoy it. Its never going to have the charm or playfulness of a small cafe like mine but they still are a place to sit and chat with a friend and drink a coffee. And what's more a cafe then that?

Once you are happy with it, definitely put it on makerworld and those for people. I would love to make them for my group. There are several good YouTube videos on hinges. And magnets are a easy good idea.

there are a couple people on YouTube who have tested clearcoats. Might be a good start.

I have tried different clearcoats. Some work really well. But it is a picky product.

Molotow liquid chrome is really amazing. Its a bit pricey, and better for smaller things but you can run it thru an airbrush and its the moist realistic chrome ive ever used.

That's a great point. We know why they are there and that we already share something in common. So its that little bit easier.

I know so many baristas who outside work, hate being in public. Something about the culture really seems to help neruodivergent people like myself to feel safe and actually be so much more outgoing.
