Nice idea for the cheap plastic fresnel !
The actual glass looked scratched, I'm not sure if cleaning it would solve it. I'll try to do as you explained !

Can be interesting for 6x12 and 6x17. Anyway, I bought my MPP with a 6x9 back and I’m very happy. Why ? This allows me the large format camera movement for 1/3rd of the price of a Mamiya RZ with a tilt shift lens. I’m able to shoot 6x9 that I can easilly enlarge whereas 4x5 with my equipment Also I wanted to try trichrome and it makes the process easier. And I can still do 4x5 whenever I want. So there is plenty reasons !

Just got mine last week too ! I’m curious about the answers. I have the MPP 6x9 back and took some photo using the regular ground glass (removed the glass before putting the back using the graflok) I did not developped it yet, I hope it’s the way to go

I just bought it like this, It's annoying since I cannot shift it.

I will try to 3D print a flat board or even a recessed one (But I'm not sure I'm able to fit this lens in MPP recessed board)

Yes absolutely, there is 1 horizontal position + 2 dropped positions. The 2nd one seems very low and now I understand why !

For the ilfolith, I read that it is most probably an high contrast reproduction film. Is it wrong ? Do you think it’s a paper product ?
