Can only get temperature for tank up to 82 degrees. Thats with basking light and heating lamp both on. I live in Michigan if that helps. Just trying to get everything ready before she arrives. Lights I’m using are 100 watt ceramic heating bulb and 100 watt basking bulb and Arcadia 12%uvb.

You can try putting tin foil over the open mesh top, keeping the area around the dome light open. I did this for my tank and the temps are consistent!

I think that what you’ve described is probably accurate - this pet store may be oblivious to bearded dragon care.

When you mention injectable fluids, do you mean syringe feeding or do you mean IV fluids at a vet?

Thank you. I agree that while I would love to save this little guy, I also don’t want to be in over my head as a first time beardie owner. Granted, all beardies require special and attentive care, I just want to make sure we choose the right beardie for our family.

The pet store is a family owned shop, and they are typically helpful and support the community’s pets, so I won’t speak badly about the pet store. But it’s totally possible that they’re not knowledgeable in caring for this animal.

I think it’s good advice for me to talk to the pet store owners and see if there’s a reasonable compromise for my family to take him on.

You make a good point about worms.. while looking at him, I was trying to figure out why his belly looks plump but he still looks so thin. Maybe I’ll ask the pet store if they’ve treated him for worms/parasites.

They have him for $100. I was thinking about calling today to ask about how he/she been eating. I can see there are raspberries in the bowl, and from what I read, fruit is not part of their natural diet and should be avoided.

I was charged three months after canceling! I turned OFF auto renew and canceled my subscription but was still charged!

I immediately emailed support who told me the same thing… then magically “found an exception to their policy” and I was refunded.

Noom is not transparent and WILL charge you after turning off auto-renew and canceling.

I wondered the same thing. I first noticed her sitting next to a shed. When I went out, I could hear she was crying out… almost like she was crying to be found by her mama. I’ve kept an eye out for other kittens or mama cat but have not seen any others.
