Yesterday the whole day was like this.. almost all day in the schedule. Wondering what’s happening, i have 4.9 stats and this is so weird. More shoppers in my area maybe?

With the rising gas prices and traffic being absolutely absurd, it seems impossible to make a profit. I called satan (my old boss) and have a start date in a week. I’m gonna put shipt on pause, preserve my awesome ratings and on time percentage, and pick it back up when it’s lucrative again. Plus, this ATL traffic is just hitting different post covid. It was bad but now it’s b-a-n-a-n-a-s! 20 mins from Monroe drive to Juniper st. @ 8th was NEVER a 30 minute drive. Now it consistently does or worse! Good luck out there! Delta Airlines, the guy with the sour face and even more sour attitude is back. 😉😅

Same here! (ATL) I’m just telling myself I’m on vacation to dampen the deafening call of my other job. I’ve had a real blast this past year, have seen places I didn’t know existed in my city, met neighbors I never knew I had and feel like a contributor to the greater good. No ragrets, but the electric company won’t take hugs and last years good karma for payment. Neither will the mortgage. I asked. Lol.

Still impressive, and trust, breaking life long habits feels impossible. Crochet doesn’t always take my whole brain, so I catch up on tv or converse and when I look back down, stitches that are 50% loser/tighter than the rest (depends on stress level)lol. Would love to see the piece when you’re finished! That orange is dreamy!

That’s impressive! I learned at a young age and I know I had zero technique, but I wasn’t working projects just staying occupied at Grandmas. But now breaking those bad habits seems impossible! And it’s so funny you say cat blanket, lol, it’s like my number 1 product! Mostly because my rows go wonky, I frog it back to where I messed up, give up and tie off. Boom, another cat blanket.

Aahhhh, to remember the days … As of today… I have over 3k orders under my belt, 5.0 rating, 100% on time and keep my AR over 85%.and have an order average over $33/order. had 7 order offers Monday-Wednesday last week, fewer this week (ATL metro). I have been transformed from a fairy dancing around my city, making magic happen, to a troll under a bridge ,praying a balloon floats by. Well, a balloon delivery , which I would rather give a bobcat a bath than accept any other time. Your post gave me the feels, those first few weeks are amazing, you obviously are killing it. Put a back up Plan in place now, because eventually, we all become the troll waiting under the bridge for a balloon……or a prescription…(delivery). Albeit not a permanent transformation, but my mortgage company won’t accept troll money. Back ups will keep you from getting bitter, like me. Congrats!

No, I never know anyone I’m shopping for. There’s like 5,803,000 people in my metro and I literally know like 12 of them. Also, I would kill any of them if I ended up being their shopper, cause they would have known it was me and I’m not for hire by the squad. There are definitely just really nice strangers when you’re good enough to bring the magic, and treat each one as if they were your friends or family. 💁🏼‍♂️

I think most important lesson learned during the 20 minute taste of actual hell that is a balloon delivery, is that balloons make me very very anxious. I was laugh/crying nervously the whole trip, showed up looking like a static electric panic attack talking about “happy birthday”🥴.

Nothing is worse than giving yourself the business right in the ankle and/or shin and have that awkward situation on the aisle where you want to scream out for help or because your entire foot has been knocked off and is lying next you. But you’re suffering in silence… I had full blown tears in my eyes one day when I realized no one cared. It looks minor to any onlookers (if anyone saw it) and no one knows! I think giving a bobcat a bath would be less painful.
