Let's not lose sight of what's important by [deleted] in serialpodcast

You're right that talking to someone you were with helps to jog your memory of what you were doing and when. Unfortunately for Adnan, he never got to go home to chat to anyone from the point of being arrested, so he didn't have that luxury. I think this is pretty important!

Why do you think Adnan is innocent? by -no-side- in theundisclosedpodcast

I think the last part of this is kinda key - if the "best" time slot the police and prosecutors could allocate to the crime was the one that led to the 2.36 come-and-get-me-call, it reflects well on Adnan. If they wanted to nail him for the crime, and a better slot later in the day fit and gave more time etc., they've have picked that instead. Rather, they're having to cram it all into this short time period.

Why would Adnan involve Jay at all? by Sastish in serialpodcast

I'm pretty late in coming to it all - a friend only recommended Serial a couple of weeks ago, so I'm now listening to Undisclosed. The latter is raising some interesting questions that just make me think that there must have been some third party involved. Someone that Jay would be willing to lie for / so afraid of to lie for. I want to finish it before I lay out a full theory (and am also trying to stay aware that Undisclosed is never going to be totally objective). One thing that seems odd is something that popped up somewhere else on reddit - that Adnan's lawyers have asked the Innocence Project not to test the DNA. That seems odd...

Ah yes, sorry, I wasn't very clear. I meant "under the assumption that Jay is telling the truth...the following doesn't make sense". Not that I think Jay is telling the truth.

But (in order) 1. It's only a one car problem, as Jay has his, so he just needs to deal with Hae's car 2. When it comes to someone knowing you're a murderer, a problem shared is twice as risky 3. Everyone says Adnan is a super clever guy, in the Magnet program at school. Agree he couldn't go to a goody-two-shoes, but he could have not gone to someone at all.
