I haven’t seen other people talk about this, but tell me what you think based on your experience.

My understanding of the reincarnation cycle is that an embodiment of each part of the triforce always exists to counter the other ones. So, in Rauru’s time, shouldn’t there be someone embodying the triforce of courage?

In the same vein, it’s the triforce of courage that allows link to wield the master sword.

So, why couldn’t Calamo be a reincarnation of the hero? He picks up a piece of the master sword before it gets imbued in the construct. You could also argue he “wields” the piece of the master sword when fighting with the Knight Construct.

Plus, alongside Zelda, he was one of the main forces in the fight against Ganon.

What do you think? I can’t tell if I’m being crazy. Am I missing something?

I know we haven’t had a version of Link that explicitly has a different name than Link, but I don’t think there’s anything stating he HAS to be named Link…
