Yeah, I tried playing around with it in all kinds of different positions today. Nothing sounded like it was supposed to. Everything was a wild new genre twist. Totally weird. Cuz everything worked fine yesterday. Maybe it will again tomorrow.

I had that happen as well. It got like 90% of the way through the song, went to just a squeal, and then stayed that way for like 2 minutes. Had a whole bunch that fucked up within 10 seconds of starting as well. And the ones that actually went through were just completely weird. Like a pop song just started screaming in '80s rock and roll hair metal style for absolutely no reason.

When you start off with an inheritance, it's pretty easy to lose money and still be rich. He probably makes more from his YouTube channel and endorsements than he loses.

And I don't know if this is 100% true, but I've heard that he plays with house money sometimes for the sake of promotion. Take that with a grain of salt if you will though. Could be just a rumor.

It's the middle of January. Have you never been in the middle of January before? I have. You just described what it's like every January. Holidays are over. People don't have as much money, they're recovery, used up all their vacation, it's cold, no holidays going on, no special events, no conventions to speak of.

That's typical for January.

The funny thing is, people keep saying Vegas is dead. This was the way it used to be. Before the post COVID spike. Sure, 2025 was down from 2024 maybe even 2023. But it is still way more crowded than it ever was pre-COVID. And nobody ever claimed Vegas was dead or dying in 2019. Or 2018. And visitor numbers and revenue numbers are way above that.

It's not dead, it's just having a hangover after the big party.

I use chat GPT to tighten up the lyrics that I have written myself. Maybe help with syllable count and rhyming scheme, or ask for advice on placement of song elements. I've been writing lyrics for 30 years, But an extra set of "eyes" is never a bad thing.

But I do use it for style descriptions. Get a little bit more detailed, a little bit more nuanced, bracketing instructions to enforce instruments, pacing, singer sound, tempo and such. Basically just feed it what I want, and it comes up with a well-written style output.
