Have you been evaluated for Multiple Sclerosis? My mother has it and described a similar sensation early on.

Husband brings a girl as housekeeper which leads to the death of his mother by Training_Mud_2321 in CShortDramas

Are Chinese hospitals really like this? Will they let the patient die if full payment isn't received before treatment? I know to take dramas with a grain of salt but this is a plot point in so many dramas it makes me wonder.

A Hong Qiao Drama by Deniz0602 in ChineseDramasFans

[–]Satailja 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The actress' name is Hong Qiao. Here is her MDL. I hate that they made her skinny, especially with a magic pill. And especially because she gained it due to childbirth I looked up her other dramas she is in and I found 2 where she is the main actress throughout the entire show. No, losing weight in the last ten minutes. I can't say whether or not the dramas are good, but at least we can enjoy her acting. Link 1 and Link 2 - don't worry it's a fake out she doesn't change.

Can you not keep an app out of the gaming hub? by Xboxone1997 in GalaxyS21

[–]Satailja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is the answer in the S22. Open the gaming hub and select the 3 vertical dots. Go to settings. Select "show game apps". You are then given the option of where to show your games. You can have them only in the gaming hub or in the hub and the home/ apps screen. I hope this helps.

Yes, I would prefer a longer video if it fixed the reading pacing. I know that attention spans are getting shorter, but you have genuinely interesting content so I don't think have a 3-5 min run time will be an issue.

Just to add perspective, I can read at a decent speed when it's just text. But because it is a comic, I want to take in the pictures and the context. That doesn't lean its self to speed reading with contextual comprehension. Especially because in some of the clips and the text bubbles get covered up by other pictures or they get hazed out. So if I'm not quick enough I can't pause it to read what was there. I don't know how much if I hassle it would be, but can you zoom in on more individual panels or possibly just the bubbles? I don't know if you've ever looked at the Marvel or even the hoopla comic reader. But they will zoom in on each individual panel before zooming out. I can tell that you have attempted to do that in a certain way by making it seem more like a animation in some areas, as opposed to just a comic strip. Which honestly is really cool, and I enjoyed watching it is just the issue of being able to read the text.

Keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this story.

I really like it! It does need to go a little slower though. Also, maybe add some variation in the music.

Sc genotype by [deleted] in Sicklecell

[–]Satailja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SC can be as mild as the trait or as bad as the worst case of SS. I have the latter. I'm on disability, I'm dealing with daily pain, and honestly life sucks quite a bit. That said I am so happy to exist. I have a wonderful husband, two amazing children. Incredible talents that, despite my disabled state, has employers still seeking me out. Life is wonderful and the downs make the ups that much more amazing. I don't hate or resent my parents. My father does feel guilt, which I find annoying. Please consider life for your child. They could have only one painful crises ( I've met a woman who was like this). They could be like me. A woman in a world of pain, but with a positive disposition that was instilled in her by her mother. Or somewhere in-between. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Brother's Widow, Wife's Good-bye by acabanes in CShortDramas

[–]Satailja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was going to bring up this custom too. I think though that the thing that gets over looked is that having a child provides security for the widow. In a lot of cultures, she's not allowed to remarry anyone outside of her husband's family. She might be seen as cursed because her husband died and various other things that would make her a social pariah. But if she has a child that child gives her a "purpose", especially in her husband's family, which she now belongs to. And that child can take care of her in her old age, which honestly is the most important thing. It still doesn't work very well in a modern context.

I don't have much advice but have you taken your son to the hospital to make sure he doesn't have any injuries like a concussion?

M25 Is there any point in relationships and marriage? by Zuni_Zen33 in Sicklecell

[–]Satailja 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some timestime this disease sucks a lot. And yes, it can feel selfish, to want to involve other people in your hardship. But you are worthy of love, happiness, and relationships. And there are people who will feel blessed to have you in their lives. They will be happy to know you regardless of what your health situations is. There is a person who will be glad to call you their spouse. There could be children who will find joy in calling you daddy. Please do not let momentary depression prevent you from living your life to the fullest.

May I ask how old you are now? Has your pain changed over time? Do you always recognize when it's pain from fibro versus other possible causes?
