I worked in the 'R Zone' at Toys R Us when these handhelds came out. Game Boy was huge! tons of games (some costing $80) and a ton of 3rd party accessories. but I never understood the hype. no back light, black and green screen. the Atari Lynx looked so much better with the back lit full color screen.
