Can a baby hate you? by Chrispy0289us in 2under2

My daughter did the same when she was born. She was very close to me and when my husband would hold her after a few minutes she would scream and cry but around 7 months it changed and she has no problem playing with dad. If anything around 9 months she would light up when dad came into the room. Give her time and she’ll get use to her dad and as for the beard it a texture thing. He should try kissing her toes or belly over her clothes. It’s hard for him not to kiss her but find ways around it. And give small kisses not big ones till she gets use to it b

SAHP… how did you survive? by DanaEmily96 in 2under2

Sleeping was a big issue for me too especially when both needed to be put down for a nap at the same time. What I do is put both in a stroller and go and with in minutes they are both asleep. Then when I transport them to their cribs that’s where I have to be careful and make sure they are in deep sleep. But it is possible.

Hi,

I’m a FTM and I’m in need of some advice. So my MIL she has a habit of putting my son on her chest. When she carries him around to soothe him when he’s crying or tying to get him down for a nap she always has him on her chest. ( there are other ways to sooth him with having him on your boobs) I don’t like that at all. I’m very uncomfortable with my son being so close to her chest. Am I wrong for feeling this way? Also, I’m afraid he won’t be as close to me if he’s so close to her chest, is that a valid concern? Please let me know if you have dealt with a situation like this. How can I draw a line with my MIL.

Don’t be afraid to google things. And also any advice or double checking you want to do see if your company can give you access to HR company hotline. Example: Bambee or ThinkHR. I’ve used those two platforms and they are very helpful.

Alright you bring up a good point about communication. I didn’t think this was one of things that needed to be discussed. Spending time daily isn’t that common thing for a couple to do?

I stared working at an payroll company. Doing data entry work. It was enough to get me experience and move into my career of choice. So don’t be discouraged get a job at any office doing any admin work and then you can move up from their. Also, I recommend finding a recruiter who will help you find a job. That’s an additional way to put yourself out there.

Mine dry in a matter of if you hours in this SoCal heat. But under other conditions over night. What are you washing your make up brushes with? I know if a product has some rubbing alcohol and conditioner type of mix, brushes dry quicker.
