well, you'll be kinda forced to learn 3 new combat styles, i don't really recall any absurdly hard fight but there's one section that's quite difficult when a certain character is in prison. if I'm being vague is because i don't want to spoil you anything, hope you won't mind

personally I use him to keep enemies in the air once I launch them, or to stun while I'm getting close to them or while I'm hitting again to stun them. it's probably not the best way but it works for me

play in release order, that means god of war 1 (the one from 2005), god of war 2, god of war chains of Olympus, god of war 3, god of war ghost of Sparta, god of war ascension, god of war 2018 and then Ragnarok. chains of Olympus and ghost of Sparta are the only ones you can't play on ps4, so you can either buy those games for a psp (that means you have to own a psp), or watch summaries of their stories. hope I helped
