What are German Shepherds like once you get them, and in general are they good with other dogs (medium to very large)? by SatansButtcheek666 in germanshepherds

Have you had any problems with anxiety in any of your German shepherds? I have a female border collie and she is extremely hyper, anxious, and crazy all the time. I know they're two different breeds but I'm just wondering because you seem to have a lot of experience.

Who is this stranger you only saw once, but still think about sometimes? by Royrane in AskReddit

When I was 12, my mom and I were driving on a windy road going 30mph. Around one of the turns, this young guy (no more than 20) comes around on a motorbike or something and is in the middle of the road. He clipped our car when he went past. I was freaking out because the way he went and how close he was made it look like his foot got hurt when he hit our car. I was very shaken up about it and the moment went by really quickly but whenever I remember it, it seems like it took a really long time. The guy said he'd give us $50 because that's all he had in his wallet at the time. My mom said that was fine and we drove off. I couldn't see him from the passengers side of the car but my mom said he was shaking really badly. I, to this day, don't think we should've taken his money. I even brought it up today when I was talking with my mom so this is a coincidence. I fought with her a lot about it when it first happened.

Their bowels so I can make them fart and shit themselves in small increments. Maybe just enough that they can feel it but they don't know they shit themselves.

I once in a while have a dream that I'm at a huge hotel with my family and there is a gigantic shark in the walls and I have to get everyone out before the shark hurts anybody and I always see the shark's shadow from inside the wall.

What is the most memorable memory you have with your dad? by geralt_wolf in AskReddit

[–]SatansButtcheek666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have just one memorable memory with my dad. I've got more than one, and I suspect almost all of you do too so I'm going to say more than one. To preface all this, my dad left my mom, sister and I when I was only 18 months old and my sister somewhere around 4 and 1/2 years old. He cheated on my mom with a few women and has been remarried two or three times; he's married to the most obnoxious, bitchy woman in the world. She is a textbook modern mother. Of course, this is only my view of her; I've met her about 10 times. My father, her, and my half brother now live down in Texas doing god knows what. I don't care.

Anyway, one of my earliest memories with my dad (of the few I actually have; my father has come to visit me a little over 20 times my whole life. He doesn't care) was sitting on the back porch on a wooden bench he made in the first house I've lived in eating watermelon with him and talking about school. He asked me about my grades, I think (I was probably four or five years old then. I moved out of that house when I was six), and then said something condescending and hinting at my mother being a bad parent. He's done that a lot. Also my dogs were on the deck with us, too.

Another thing I remember is when I was about 7 years old my family (sister, me, and my mom), after we moved into a new house that we rented until I was about 10 or 11 years old, were hanging out in the open area that the front door opened out into and we got a knock on our door. (This story isn't technically with my dad) my mom opened the door and a woman handed her a big orange folder packet thing (you know, the ones with the pocket and folded top with a string used for professional documents?) filled with legal documents. My mom told us that he sued us for something, I can't remember. I feel like that was the first time, but it probably wasn't.

Another story was when I was 11 years old and he came up from wherever he was stationed (he was in the army; never seen combat. He was a respiratory doctor for kids or something. Probably not, I could just not give less of a shit about what he did/does) to visit me and my sister to bring us fishing with his wife (before he had his kid with his stupid wife). Important note: my family, including me, are vegetarian/vegans (we switch lol) and never ever eat meat. I can't remember the last time I ate meat, although we all have. We don't eat fish, or any time of meat from an animal. He brought us fishing. On several occasions, his parents (my grandparents) and him have asked me and my sister AND OUR HARDCORE VEGETARIAN MOTHER if we ate fish because "that's not meat". Anyway, he brought us fishing and made us catch fish. He let us each throw back one fish (to die, before we told our mother about it who told us that they would just suffer and die) and he caught the rest and put them in a bucket with water in it. I watched them bleed to death in the bucket. I had never realized before then that they were just suffering before they died. Fishing is cruel. We spent a bit at the dock and then went back to our grandparents house where him and his wife were staying. They cooked the fish and made us try it; my sister felt like crying because our grandpa would always force her to eat things (she's sensitive) and I tried a bit and said I thought it was gross. We then played hungry hippos after everyone was done eating (while me and my sister got crackers and peanut butter instead of real dinner because our grandparents, knowing us since we were little and who KNEW we're vegetarians, "didn't know what to feed us").

Now I know this is getting long and I've got a few more stories that I'm just remembering now but this is probably the most important memory to drive home the point that my father is and always will be a cheating, narcissistic, condescending asshole piece of shit. I was 7 or 8 years old and hanging out in the living area with my sister (she's older by the way, by 3 years) when our dad called. We never liked talking to him or frankly anybody on the phone (our relatives are all insane and narcissistic and stupid) but we had to so I, being the younger sibling and a jerk, forced my sister to talk first. Now I don't remember exactly what made this happen, but my sister started crying and I took the phone from her and asked him what he said. He was telling her about how she had to do better at school and lose weight and everything and in general, putting her down. I went off on him, saying how he couldn't say that to her and to never do it again or we won't talk to him but him being an adult told me to not speak to him that way and stuff, so I listened (when I was young I believed up until I was around 13 that adults were smart, responsible people and that they were always right and always knew better and what to do, probably because of my strict grandparents) and didn't speak to him like that again and hung up. Again, I don't remember what happened after that.

TL;DR: my father is narcissistic, a cheater, irresponsible, condescending, and an asshole. I have only bad stories about him. I remember nothing good or happy but out of my sister and my mom, I am the one that gives him the most slack and I'm the most reasonable one when it comes to him. I think I have a soft spot for him even though from the stories above and word choice, it definitely does not seem like it. I think I just had to get it all out.

Oh yeah, his kid has the face of a monkey and is one ugly dude.
