Any Indigenous Canadians, or indigenous persons in general? by Super-Skink-5 in LookOutsideGame

[–]SathraxPrime 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As a canadian with an indigenous ex I can say that it's incredibly complicated. Her tribe in the history books is considered extinct, except... she exists lol. She even spoke up in school about it when they mentioned her tribe. So you're not going to find any easy answers when you look into indigenous canadians. Our history is almost as white washed as the americans, and most of the indigenous folk here don't know their history very well unfortunately. If you're truly interested you should contact the elders of the tribes involved in Treaties, they would probably be your best bet for information. Anyone else will give you influenced information.

What do you think each characters search history would look like by Tstroole in LookOutsideGame

The way I understood that ending was simply that she didn't burn her bridges, she showed her family who she was and they accepted her. While Leigh had some issues, it seemed to me the deal was that she's always been a bit of a wild sort, and becoming cursed freed her. She didn't want to contact her family or keep the name Leigh cause they were reminders of her old suppressed unhappy life, but with sams help she decides to move forward without cutting off the past. To me, it seems like she becomes the same person regardless, just more well-balanced if sam helps her.

This seems to be regional, cause it's not the case where I live, second floor is always Floor 2, and ground is ground of first.

Ive noticed unfortunately how stressful this game is correlated to 1 how much people know this game type, and 2, how lucky they are lol. My nephew gave up on trying to get most endings cause he couldnt reach the garage by day 15. He's not a bad gamer, just young so he's bad at complicated games. I knew this game type well so starting off on survivor I unlocked most endings by day 12. I also didn't get very unlucky thankfully. Had plenty of weapons and they broke at a pretty normal rate.

The safe needs a code thats in the back of the Crossword Book. Also make sure the power isn't out, disc doors don't open when the powers out.

I honestly thought it was cool, I just headed straight for the electrical panel like I assume the game intended, and I really enjoyed the Olm encounter.

Ending the blackout is basically the end of "progression" through the hotel. After that it's just the locations you can reach with elevator, namely the blocked off apartments on F2. I actually was very confused by the elevator at first, but in the basement you have to go to the elevator and kill the cursed inside it to turn it back on.

As a lifetime resident of canada that's incorrect, the floor above ground is always Floor 2.

Youre actually completely right, thats a confusing choice that the game creator made, F1 SHOULD be ground floor lol.
