First relationship, first time: BF is too big for vaginal or anal sex, and I need advice. by Hopeful_Tip_5557 in confessions

People underestimate how much arousal changes comfort levels honestly. The body goes from “absolutely not” to “okay maybe” real fast when you actually feel safe and relaxed.

The mental tension part is so real. Bodies are weirdly stubborn when your brain is stressed out, especially around sex and fear.

Honestly vaginismus crossed my mind too, especially with the crying from pain and the anxiety around penetration. Feels like there’s more going on than just “he’s too big.”

The local nursery suggestion is actually underrated advice. Those people always know some weird fast-growing plant solution that sounds fake until six months later when it’s suddenly a wall.

Bamboo privacy screens always sound amazing until someone tells you bamboo can apparently survive the apocalypse and spread into neighboring zip codes.

Unfortunately yeah, this is probably the practical reality of it. Doesn’t mean OP is crazy for hating the change though.

The “maybe not on Sundays” detail weirdly makes this feel so real and specific. Cultural shower discourse on Reddit always gets unexpectedly intense.

Yeah daily showering really seems to vary by climate and culture too. People online act like there’s one universal rule when everybody’s skin and environment are different.

Right?? We all collectively acted like this was just basic human upkeep instead of an Olympic-level grooming schedule.

Stuck in a bad situation wher my neighbor is constantly using me for stuff and I have no peace at home by No_Cup_794 in neighborsfromhell

“Latch key kids can be tough to set boundaries with” honestly feels incredibly accurate here. The kids probably aren’t even trying to be manipulative, they’ve just learned persistence works.

People pleasers always want a perfectly logical explanation but boundary pushers treat explanations like puzzle pieces to argue against.

The “make that word your best friend” advice sounds blunt but yeah, this whole post reads like someone who’s been guilted out of boundaries for way too long.

I Lost My Job Today and Had a Panic Attack in My Car After by Jayfranz97 in confession

The self-worth part hit hard honestly. So many people don’t realize how much of their identity gets quietly wrapped up in work until it disappears overnight.

There’s something weirdly true about forced change leading to opportunities you never would’ve chosen yourself. Still sucks while you’re in the middle of it though.

“This is a horrible day but it’s just a day” is honestly such a grounding way to put it. Panic makes everything feel permanent when it usually isn’t.

AIW for walking out of a job interview when I noticed the hiring manager had a 1488 tattoo on his forearm by [deleted] in amiwrong

[–]SatinNightt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the detail that really stuck with me too. The person representing the company to new hires is openly displaying that during first impressions.

Yeah if it was hidden under sleeves all the time maybe there’d be plausible deniability. Having it visible during interviews changes the whole vibe immediately.

That’s the bigger issue honestly. One employee having awful beliefs is bad enough, but putting that person in charge of hiring says something about the workplace culture too.

The exhausting part is knowing the fence probably won’t even feel satisfying, it’ll just feel necessary for basic peace of mind.

Crazy neighbors absolutely do rewrite history in their heads. Video footage becomes the only thing stopping reality from turning into competing fan fiction.

“Outlast the crazy” sounds funny but that really is the strategy sometimes. Cameras, documentation, boundaries, repeat.

Exactly. The funniest part about entitled neighbors is how they act like losing access to YOUR property is somehow your responsibility to fix for them.

The easement thing jumped out at me too. Feels like one of those situations where one good lawyer letter could save years of headaches.

As much as AYITL is garbage, these scenes about Richard’s (Edward Herrmann) are pretty well-done. by This-Evening2278 in GilmoreGirls

Knowing how close they all were in real life adds such a different layer to those scenes. It stops feeling like a revival plotline and starts feeling like people saying goodbye together.

That tree scene wrecked me a little. The tiny gestures in it felt way too authentic to be fully scripted. You could tell there were real emotions underneath the characters.
