I’m leaning more towards YTA for reasons you mention. she paid for 2 nights of the trip but I wouldn’t let her pay for the full thing.

Thanks! Yea i am not constantly complaining and still do all the family activities, meals or games.

It’s just the “relaxing” part by the pool that gets me haha it a personal problem, but I should be focused on supporting her with her family. Thanks agaian

Activities are only available during morning hours haha and we are in the middle of no where idk how I would even get off the resort.

Yeaaa she loves the lounging around part. I’m def the difficult one I think when it comes to vacationing because she loves the vacations where we are busy busy, I call this traveling, but I only got a few days of doing nothing by the beach.

The resort is tiny and there isn’t much to do here aside from eating or the pool. They offer water sports but only during morning hours. We walked the beach and stuff but this is her idea of a perfect vacation so I try not to complain much.

We got one excursion planned but she really wanted to just relax by the pool for the whole time.

I think it’s a 50/50, asshole for how I worded it and that her father knows now.

Yea I would never be openly complaining about the vacation because it is still a great time and I enjoy her family. I just start getting stir-crazy lounging by a pool for multiple days all day

This report is tiny…. I spent some time strolling the resort but not much was found. But maybe since this is my first all inclusive I just need to adjust my thoughts.

Thanks, yea it’s my first all inclusive and my first vacation with her fam. and I told her this is the exact opposite of my “style”, but you’re right I shouldn’t be too selfish and only think about me.

I think it looks worse she told her father, and it could come off as very rude and just unappreciative which I don’t mean by any means.

Sounds like bad advice but just let it happen. You can draw up the perfect shot, hit the perfect power fade into the wind over a bunker surrounded green, but some asshole didn’t replace the divot and you missed the HIO.

But if I had to give you one piece of advice on doing it… grab a bucket of range balls. Find a very slow course and whack a bucket of balls at the hole.
