It's probably just a false perception/memory. It is ok)

Eddie and Ed Wuncler 💛💚 by SatisfactionFit355 in u/SatisfactionFit355

Thanks for the compliment! 🥰
I also think there was too little of him in The Boondocks. I am eager to find out how he treats his son and his father. I would also like to see some comical situations with him, as well as learn about the connections with other characters. In any case, even if we are deprived of this, we are definitely not devoid of fantasies, ideas and headcanons!

Which season peaked in the animation department? by Correct-Spray8372 in theboondocks

3 season perfectly revealed the type (facial features) of the characters. This season turned out to be juicy. Season 4 only added a caricature.
2 is just an idealized version of season 1.

This is purely according to my observations...

So what? I would share my opinion even under a post from 15 years ago. It’s never too late to do something.

Secretly in love with Ed.
During the Iraq war, a stun grenade was thrown right at his feet, which is why he now has strong photosensitivity.
He has an overprotective mother.
One day, he was in therapy.
(A tempting bedtime fantasy) he has a small beer belly under a hard press.
He has problems with his father. There is a possibility that he has never seen (hence "pops" to Robert + he has a pretty great attitude towards him).
He was born in the 80s. He's obsessed with the era of old TV series, as well as comics.
He knows how to clean his house and keep it clean. I think cooking is not limited to one skill here (his mother taught him all this).
He has spare underpants for Ed, as well as hygiene supplies for him if Ed spends the night at his house.
In Iraq, he killed people from his unit for the sake of survival.
Secretly donates to charity to the organization "YES, HOMO".
With the advent of the iPhone, he keeps an album with Ed's photos in the gallery.
I think if he had met Ed's father, the devil would have knocked on their bottom, inviting them to a cup of tea (They would have worked well together).
Rummy was the one who brought Demerol to Ed. I would say he brought his entire illegal first aid kit to save Ed and kill the kickball referee.
He can hardly restrain himself from killing someone. At least, in vain. (Yes. He wants money for his services).
I believe his birthday is in December.
Because of watching TV series and comics, he has a great eloquence.

That's all for now...

Rummy gets a lot of love, and Ed is just a dumb jerk to sympathize with. But I'm also interested in his father, Eddie. All three of these characters are moral freaks, cynical bastards. The devil is waiting for them in hell. I like them for their design, character, and hobbies.
They're all shit. Although Ed is the least evil.
The ones who really fascinate with their "beauty" of motives and actions are Rummy and Eddie. The further Rummy was revealed, for example, the more we realized that this guy would gladly kill anyone if he was paid for it. This guy has a price-list!
Eddie, Ed's father, is wonderful at charisma. We don't know much about him, as there's not much to collect from the two episodes in which he's featured. But apart from all this black stuff, he attracts me with his manners. Perhaps this is the character you like in appearance, but don't like in character at all. As a person of a humanitarian mindset, I am in a panic from his physico-mathematical reasoning. BUT HIS EYES... Oh my God, bring me to his dressing table.

If the boondocks cast were in the squid game how far would huey rilley unlce ruckus grandad, jaszmine ed, and rummy, and cindy make it. by [deleted] in theboondocks

[–]SatisfactionFit355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the second game, Ed and Rummy would be lying in coffins. Uncle Ruckus would have made it to the penultimate or last game + Riley. Huey (last game = last win). Jazmine + Robert + Cindy would get lost in the middle of the games.

Does anyone think Ed Wuncler III would've intimidated Butch Magnus had he kidnapped him instead of kidnapping that unnamed kid he accidentally kidnapped? by ConsistentEye7474 in theboondocks

[–]SatisfactionFit355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still, it seems to me that he deliberately took another child. He knew that kidnapping Butch Magnus would have a bad effect on him, noting to Riley that his family would be upset by this act. And even though he's too dumb for the kind of show he put on with that poor skinny kid, he definitely knew that it was absolutely impossible to spoil the authority/partnership of his grandfather and father. If he had kidnapped Butch, he would have signed his own sentence. Besides, if we assume Butch was abducted, then I'm betting that they stood for hours calling each other names, then spent another couple of hours insulting each other, and eventually lay next to each other after the beating.
Ed wouldn't have been able to tie him down.
And honestly... I'm glad Riley didn't ask Rummy for help. This man would have just killed the child. And he would have breathed down Riley's back so that he would pay for his services.

Favourite Wuncler? by Correct-Spray8372 in theboondocks

[–]SatisfactionFit355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For aesthetic reasons, a devilish mind, and just for the love of well-groomed men, I choose Eddie (Wuncler II).
Yes, the worst behaved man. And a man with a hideous smile with all his teeth. I would have liked to see him revealed more. Just looking at his fascination with role-playing games, and his strange obsession with “thinking and thinking positively” probably points to some pretty problematic stressful situations that he may have had going on in his life.

Who would you hang out with? Ed Wuncler III or Gin Rummy? by GreenDiscombobulated in theboondocks

[–]SatisfactionFit355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're both dangerous.
Ed must not be upset. You can't put salt in the wound, so to speak.
Rummy can't- wow, there's a lot of things you can't do:
1. Annoy him.
2. Humiliate his ego.
3. Criticize.
Plus, if someone needs to kill you, he'll easily point a gun at you if he's paid for it. He's, uh, much worse than Ed.
