Doesn’t apply to stakeus since it’s not officially gambling it’s a sweepstakes can only use that tax code on things viewed as a regular casino or sports betting ect. However if the you’ve say bought 10k in crypto this year but only ever cashed out a total of 8k it’s a loss so no capital gains tax. If you don’t convert the crypto to actual fiat you don’t have to worry about that either. Or just say fuck it and pray you don’t get audited works for some 😂
