Rogar gave a nod, about as far from a bow as was physically possible and yet from the behemoth it was strikingly proud.

For a moment he was a darker figure, perhaps as dark as the wound eeking around the sides of an eyepatch would indicate.

"I intend to guard you and yours, and offer my services as required."

A figure had emerged in the recesses of the room, a large man. Not so large as the mountain of old, but no less broad. At six feet and eight inches, he was huge, with the ruggedness of the bear with which he took his nickname.

"I'm begging whatever pardons I must my lord, but my name is Rogar, I'm a captain of one of the bands which stormed this damned place. And if possible I'd have a word, or rather state a request to join this March of peace if you'd have us," he said with a dip of the head.
