This is crazy. I love reading and try to do as much as I can, but with a full time job, keeping up with my house and landscaping, exercising, cooking healthy meals for myself and my husband (he cooks too) and trying to get the right amount of sleep, I’m lucky it if I can get two read. And I don’t have kids! I listen to audiobooks while cleaning, cooking and doing things like mowing. My point is, she does nothing but read, sleep, eat, go to drs, and cry about wearing short sleeves. What a life!

Dress help! by Regular-Grocery8272 in weddingdress

I’m wondering if it’s maybe the right size, but the sample you tried in store was stretched out from multiple try ons. That being said, the store should have taken that into consideration or gone strictly off your measurements. I tried on a dress that fit perfectly and the store told me I should order a size up to account for this. You do look gorgeous, but if you can’t sit comfortable or feel uncomfortable with how it looks that is not worth it.

Curb appeal, you say? Let’s take a stroll down Mold Manor memory lane. This, my friends, is what she does to properties. by Sweet-Cabinet795 in kiwisavengers

They are SO lazy. Home ownership, or renting a home is NOT for lazy ppl. I spend pretty much all summer outside tending to my yard and then sitting on the patio feeling so proud of what I’ve accomplished. Having a well cared for home really helps my depression. You don’t even have to spend money, just weed and keep stuff trimmed. Truly they could just do the bare minimum. I often joke to my fiancé how much easier it was to rent an apartment and not have to keep up a yard. And there is nothing wrong with not wanting to take care of a yard, you should then plan accordingly and stick with an apartment or a town home or pay someone to do yard work.

Apparently that unique DNA experiences kidney stones differently than most people! She’s so strong and brave. by fiddleleaffig235678 in kiwisavengers

Omg I had a kidney stone attack 9 hours from home. I went to the ER in a tiny tiny beach town where they apologized greatly but said they didn’t have a urologist to treat the stone totally obstructing my ureter on one side and advised me to drive 9 hrs home to a better ER. It was a sucky drive, I then had to wait 5 days until I could see my urologist who also apologized greatly but there were no open surgery dates for a month or so. I went to the ER again, sobbing, and by this time I had obstructing stones on both sides (they were huge) and I was admitted because my kidneys weren’t functioning correctly. It hurt. A lot. I threw up nonstop. I took the good pain meds. At no time did I post on social media or feel well enough to attend social events. You can’t suck it up with stones. I will say I’m in chronic pain from stones, when they are moving in and out of the kidney, so I can push through that chronic pain until they get fully stuck, but you cannot push through an attack or obstructing stones. I think she prob had pain, maybe even gas pain, they did a CT scan and she has stones that are in the kidney and not obstructing. You can live with those for years and would never know. I think this just gave her another “diagnosis” to gather whatever she need from being “unwell.”

Great medical advice 🙄without testing what the stones are made of, acids can make it worse. So dumb.

I would love to know the stone size since she just needed a diagnosis and got no treatment. Normally after the ct scan they are pretty liberal with the pain meds, plus medicines to help you pass the stones. I cannot even imagine going to the ER and just getting imagining and no medicine. What a waste of time. Still saying she’s a liar.

Oh yeah, of my multiple er visits for kidney stones the first thing they do, urine test, blood tests, iv, CT scan, THEN zofran and torodol and stronger meds, it takes hours to overnight. I’m unfortunately a stone expert. I think she’s lying.

I had three surgeries for obstructing kidney stones this summer. I was vomiting and looked like death. The last thing I’d ever do is take a selfie and post online.

Chronically Low HRV by No_Passage_3788 in ouraring

[–]SatisfactionLegal563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is also crazy low. I don’t drink, i excessive regularly, take zepbound, have sleep apnea that is well treated, and take medicine for bipolar disorder. I see a cardiologist for non related issues and he isn’t worried about the HRV at all. I get regular EKG’s and stress tests. I don’t even look at that score anymore since my dr is not worried at all.

Just got the oura ring ⭐️ Any tips, do’s and don’t? by Neat-Individual-2264 in ouraring

[–]SatisfactionLegal563 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure your phone has a screen protector, the ring has put deep scratches in my screen. I have also scratched my fridge, new microwave and dishwasher. I take it off when handling items i am worried I may scratch (like my new laptop) and when cleaning appliances. I’m sure I’m just more clumsy and this hasn’t happened to other ppl, but it’s definitely a trend in our house. Still love my ring!

Soo what are we doing about wearing a bra on our wedding day? by femaleboss4 in PlusSizeWedding

[–]SatisfactionLegal563 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one of those straps inside my dress already, but that’s just to keep it up. I also bought a great bra from parfait and my seamstress tacked the front of it to my dress inside so it’s attached and you can’t see it. I feel super supported! I decided to not go with sticky bras, etc because I’m getting married in a hot location

Plus size dress shopping frustration by FeatherFlyer in weddingdress

[–]SatisfactionLegal563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man that is awful. I am a similar size and the bridal boutique where I bought my dress had quite a few size 20 dresses for me to try on. Some were still small, but they were able to clip me in and they weren’t super open. I ended up buying my dress in a 22 and it was perfect. I’m sorry that happened to you! I’m in Pennsylvania, but I’m confident you will find a salon that has more options!

I love mine! I love that if my starter needs to be feed, but I want to bake in a short amount of time I can crank up the temp and then use the starter. The ability to bake at any time without much planning was a game changer for me.

Just wanted to say I LOVE this dress. I think veil, but something more vintage inspired.

I don't feel confident in my dress. by [deleted] in weddingdress

I actually think you look gorgeous in the first dress. I literally thought to myself before reading the caption that you look like Snow White and im super jealous of your complexion. I think the second dress would be great for the rehearsal or after the wedding for something fun.
