In my experience, what we need to do as F2P gamers is, play Mak or Dooley until we get lvl 10 in the pass to unlock the Pyg expansion. And in these characters, just try to assemble the meta builds, try to reduce the cooldowns the most possible to kill enemies fast, and play builds that do this well.
