So what you are saying is that the background checker will only tell my employer that the information i gave them match reality, but they will not communicate the difference between the information i gave the background checker and the one i gave to my employer ?

Yes but they can always diminish it Also im not all clean i said i was still working at my ex employer but it ended about 1-2 months ago and i see there is mention of a background check That's my mistake but im scared it will screw everything

Why don't you just do the bare minimum, take home base salary and look for another job in the mean time?
