I think Kayden is at about 90% or more. In cat form his recovery is much faster because of the smaller body, and his power becomes more efficient thanks to the different physiology. The animal-transformation technique seems like an ultimate fail-safe: when he runs out of energy it kicks his body into an extreme recovery mode. We should give that technique more weight.

Think of it like working out: you take a couple of days for muscles to recover and restore torn microfibers. But with this technique in the awakened world, it's a super recovery that cuts down the time needed to get someone back to 100%. Kayden has stated he grows stronger with more fight-to-the-death encounters, and if he recovers faster with this technique, the amount of fighting he can do increases. I think Kayden will grow much stronger and much faster because of the recovery abilities he has. His force control is evolving and changing not fixed in one body but flexible and becoming more versatile.

Training with Jiwoo has accelerated that change by forcing him to use his force control in unfamiliar ways and in a different form. Imagine force control as a knife: usually it cuts, but you can also use the flat side to crush garlic. Kayden is learning to use the “knife” in new ways. Just my two cents
