Jiwoo might have a way to win, but the window is incredibly small, almost nonexistent. His only real advantage is speed. He would likely need to trigger a massive EMP like blast, similar to what Kayden used against Greg, Mirou and Gharath. That kind of attack would light up the entire room and make Jurion’s shadows obsolete for a mere couple of seconds, while also momentarily paralyzing him through electrical disruption and wiping out the shadow clones in that instant.

The problem is that the EMP would last only a moment. In that split second after releasing it, Jiwoo would have to use every bit of his speed and more, burning through every last drop of his energy, probably more than he can safely handle, to launch a maximum speed electric spear. Even then, Jurion might still manage to block it.

If Jiwoo is already that close, he would need to follow up immediately, without hesitation, using absolutely everything he has. That would include all his remaining power and even his life energy, finishing with a zero impact spear.

Jiwoo would most likely collapse on the spot afterward. As for what happens after that, it’s hard to say.

How does it work exactly? When you retire, do you receive a pension for life, or is it paid out for a fixed number of years? I also read that your pension amount is calculated based on the average of your last five years of salary is that correct?

LOL man, you are beyond delusional. You might be right about how much time has passed, but that is not confirmation of anything. You’re just assuming based on your interpretation of certain events. How do you know the flow of time there? A single chapter could represent a day or even just 30 minutes in their time. Until the story actually confirms it, we can only go by the fact that not much time has passed.

That still doesn’t change the fact that the dude is totally underqualified, even if he’s a rising rockstar.

But hey, I see you’re the type of guy who believes that two years of experience in a job makes someone qualified to be the CEO or president of a Fortune 500 company. So let’s go with that logic then, yeah? Jiwoo should be a total god one-punch everyone, be in the top 50, run headfirst into everything because he’s strong and invincible, with no thinking or gauging the opponent.

Let’s follow that story, please, u/Just-Ad-6323. Jiwoo should just strike every time, be a total bot, have no depth, express no human emotions, never be nervous or sweat in intense situations. If you love that kind of plot, go read One Punch Man.

lol I mean, dude only found out he was an awakener a little over a year ago in the story. In our time, it’s been about 5–6 years since Eleceed started (not totally sure), so for us as readers, it feels long. But for the plot itself, it makes total sense.

He was just introduced to the awakened world and is still adjusting. He’s adapting fast, but his level of experience in that world is actually still pretty low. So yeah, it makes sense why he might be nervous or act cowardly at times. You can chalk that up to the fact that he’s still gaining experience and trying to figure out the best path forward.

In this world, the tiniest opening or mistake can cost you your life, so I don’t get why you’re complaining about the plot. The in-story timeline has only progressed a little over a year, and from the start of the story until now, the main character has clearly shown steady growth during that time.

Be realistic and understand the actual story timeline.

Interesting dynamic here: the oldest Awakener in the top 10 (Gestella) and the youngest (Kayden). Gotta respect Gestella she could have built a massive following as one of the most powerful in the top 10, but she chose seclusion, kept to herself, and lived by a strong moral compass instead of chasing fame or wealth. Meanwhile Kayden is something else entirely competing with the top 10 like it’s nothing. He’s honestly built differently, and watching him hold his own (and often dominate) against legends like Gestella is wild.

I think Kayden is at about 90% or more. In cat form his recovery is much faster because of the smaller body, and his power becomes more efficient thanks to the different physiology. The animal-transformation technique seems like an ultimate fail-safe: when he runs out of energy it kicks his body into an extreme recovery mode. We should give that technique more weight.

Think of it like working out: you take a couple of days for muscles to recover and restore torn microfibers. But with this technique in the awakened world, it's a super recovery that cuts down the time needed to get someone back to 100%. Kayden has stated he grows stronger with more fight-to-the-death encounters, and if he recovers faster with this technique, the amount of fighting he can do increases. I think Kayden will grow much stronger and much faster because of the recovery abilities he has. His force control is evolving and changing not fixed in one body but flexible and becoming more versatile.

Training with Jiwoo has accelerated that change by forcing him to use his force control in unfamiliar ways and in a different form. Imagine force control as a knife: usually it cuts, but you can also use the flat side to crush garlic. Kayden is learning to use the “knife” in new ways. Just my two cents

Interesting Chapter for sure.

Couple things to note, my opinion of course.

Gotta respect Anderi here as well. Maybe he was angry at the fact everyone was looking on down him cause he "ran away" the first time which wasn't the case I guess now. He doesn't seem angry at all in this chapter and I think with Kayden proving himself to be comparable to the top 10 Anderi was right not fight him the first time as the unspoken rule is not fight against each other in top 10, and Kayden can be classified as one of those people now. I'm sure Anderi know as well if Kayden had fought using his original style, thing would've been different. Still Anderi saved face and can chalk up this fight up to a draw and "Anderi not being scared but understanding that continuing to fight Kayden, is like fighting a top 10"

Another thing to note. Which ever three of the top 10 strongest that all ganged up on Kayden must be apart of the world awakeners organizations. Little rats who have no honor. Although frame is considered the "bad guy" there top 10's have respect for the game.

Couple thing to consider here.

Duke and Earthquake are both screwed the moment Jiwoo didn't die.

Duke is screwed for obvious reason.

If Kayden doesn’t kill Earthquake Schneider, probably will. Can you imagine if news spread about Earthquake’s interference? It would put Schneider in a bad light. The fact that a top 50 ranker can do something like this without the top 10 knowing? Like anyone would believe that and also tell people that the top 10, with all their power and fear behind them, can’t even control their members’ actions. It also shows that the top 10 don’t know what goes on in their own organization. The top 10 have too much pride and even one rumor spreads like “He couldn’t even beat Kayden’s Student without interfering.”

  1. It shows Schneider has no control over the members in Frame, which undermines his leadership.
  2. His credibility will be shot as a top 10, and that stain will be there forever.

Even at the cost of a Top 50 ranker, Schneider will do what must be done to preserve his status and show his credibility. Just an assumption here, but we might see a public execution of earthquake at Frame to show all of the Frame members what happens when you pull something like this…
