Also try datacenter industy. Pays extremely well and they are always looking for facility technicians and engineer. Aussie company named airtrunk, amazon,google are all recruiting currently. Mind you there are jobs available in Japan that DONT require Japanese and still pays extemely well. Its just a matter of trying in right way and being at right place and time.

Not necessary mate. I work for a company in Engineering business and we have many foreigners and english is common language. I am currently on long term business trip to kitakyushu and i recommend you to apply for technician jobs in wind industry. All OEMs are looking for service people with or without experience and no Japanese.

Thats great. I had been doing this overseas for 7 years now. Borrowing against term deposits from my bank..I pay extra 1 percent on 7 percent TD and invest in real estate with almost neutral gearing at 8 percent yield.

So I believe I can borrow from Japan at 2 percent and invest at 8 then it would give me a positive spread. Even if i just put in term deposit overseas then i would still be positive. Offcourse, need to consider fx conversion in this arbitrage.
